Re: Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky

I just got my hands on the Limited Edition of Trails in the Sky, and I have to say, at the very least, XSEED was very ambitious. It is, by far, the most "boss" Limited Edition I've ever seen. The cover of the Limited Edition is metalic, the box is big, the PSP box is beautiful, there's ar...

Yeah it is pretty straight forward. I like that somewhat as it is not completely forcing you to go right on to the next plot event like some games do.

Re: Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky

I agree for the most part, except in the cases I mentioned. Neither of which apply to Trails, I'm pretty sure. Now to anyone playing Star Ocean 1 for the first time, I do strongly recommend using a guide on the puzzle I mentioned because it gives you zero hints how to do said puzzle, and there are ...

Re: Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky

Except when games are extremely difficult or you're stuck and not sure what you're supposed to do. In either of those cases, a guide is highly recommended on the first time through a game. (I'm looking at you impossible puzzle in Star Ocean 1! :x ) There is a map.....the game gives you a clear indi...

Re: Final Fantasy XIII-2

It depends on the place, I guess. Oh well, with the taxes, it will still cost around 53-55$, I think. For a $50-$60 game in my area you are looking at $3.50-$4.50 in taxes right there. I sadly probably will not be picking up FFXIII-2. I'm mainly going to be trying and the word here is TRY to pick u...

Re: The Random posts of Doom thread!

I used to have a friend who did all this. He "craved knowledge" and would look up entire storylines and scripts of movies before watching them. & he would always post spoilers of things without spoiler tags, not giving a shit about what people think. Stories are art, and I myself like...

Re: Is HDN worth buying?

HDN? Depends MK2? YES. basically, mk2 is a vast improvement upon HDN, battle system and all. I guess if you really want it then go ahead, other than that, just forget about HDN and buy mk2 honestly. Yeah seriously if you MUST play this series don't bother with the first game there are plenty of oth...

Re: Is HDN worth buying?

Well I used to be obsessed with it & played the crap out of it until someone projected their full anger at it and started stating facts (like the recycled trinity universe stuff) Oh you! :3 Acting like i'd care if my name was mentioned or not. Some people prefer trinity universe, some people pr...

Re: NIS America's Game Of The Year! [Poll]

For me, NIS America's game of the year was definitely Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel (PS3). Amazing soundtrack, loveable characters, engaging story and surprising twists made me fall in love for the game. Bah, now you make me sad. I never got that game... You should have, the game is real...
