Re: Monster Monpiece (Vita) - Out Now in NA!

My not-so-professional review of the game:

As a hobbyist dev, this game actually screams at me to want to make a clone of it, it's that good.

Re: MSZ Content Editing Discussion Thread (Please Post -Here

Guys, if you REALLY want a bathing loli minigame I could probably whip something up really quick: (non H, but still NSFW especially with the speakers on) http://rubbinggames.blogspot.com/ For heavens sake it's simple enough to be done in HTML5 for browser, it's the drawing the CG that's gonna take a...

Re: This can't possibly be that bad, can it?

To the OP: Our tastes are almost similar, I tend to begrudgingly play Compile Heart games (but usually for at least 20+ hours), whereas anything Gust I lap up. Time and Eternity, in my humble opinion, firmly sits in that great dividing line. If you can overlook the budget flaws and just look for a n...

Re: It's not that bad. (Spoilers)

I remember back when "Why did NISA license this it's worse than Last Rebellion?". Glad NISA went ahead anyway, this is a flawed but still enjoyable game. Most of the complaints I attribute to either its "fit n finish" (jerky animation, slow controls, low-budget palette swaps) or ...

Re: Cancel this game for your own good, NISA.

I loved Last Rebellion, even if it's the omg-I'm-a-gamedev-too-I-could-have-made-this-and-gotten-away-with-it kinda way. Or a how-minimalist-can-a-PS3-game-be-maybe-shoulda-published-on-Android sorta way. I think if you're also a game developer, Last Rebellion is a must-play in the lessons it teache...

Re: Namco Bandai Teases New Game - Time and Eternity

But you see the potential for it? What if every action in the game world has an equivalent hand drawn animation? It could be the Heavy Rain of anime games. Since it's only 45% complete there is still hope that the developers will really push the envelope and make "interactive anime" a real...

Re: Namco Bandai Teases New Game - Time and Eternity

NIS America, this being a PS3 game and with your deal with Imageepoch you BETTER localize this.

You have NO excuses.

Localize. Now.

Re: Newcomer in love

Just finished the game. Damn that was good. I was really pissed my first playthrough though since I hit the Bad End first. Unlike Atelier Rorona, you can't just spend your days in the shop going out only when absolutely necessary... you HAVE to go out adventuring, BUT you don't have time to grind, s...

Re: When will Atelier Totori be up for preorder?

Softcover artbook? I thought it was going to be exactly like the Qoga LE, not cost-cutted. I won't really mind a softcover book if it's PS3 case-sized like the Agarest Zero and Catherine artbook, but the NIS LE boxes are too bulky and unwieldy I have to take the game case out and store them away sep...

Re: Senran Kagura: Portrait of Girls (3DS)

My potential purchase of Nintendo 3DS is going to be fully determined by the localization chance of this game (which is to say, it's now very slim). Anyone else seen the leaked Gamescom unannounced games? Beyond The Labyrinth is listed for Vita! So there goes one of the system sellers to the other c...

Re: Kagura: Portrait of Girls (3DS)

*cough* Anyways, if no one is interested in localizing the games, I sure hope the prospective 3DS hackers are hard at work in the shadows at figuring out how to break the region lock. That rock. Then I'd import this game. There's just no guarantee this game will actually come here..... Hmmm... I had ...

Re: [email protected] 2 on the PS3

Well if NISA was able to grab Ar Tonelico Qoga from Bamco I don't see why they won't be able to get this.

Just get the complete version with the gravure mini-game, get that Mature rating, get slammed by all the western review sites, then sell truckloads like Neptunia.

Re: Kagura: Portrait of Girls (3DS)

And in all honesty...u gotta be pretty damn desperate &/or pervy to buy a 3DS & a game for it for the sole purpose of seeing jiggling jugs, lol. If Senran Kagura will get localized, then I'll buy a 3DS. It, together with Beyond the Labyrinth will be the system seller for me. I'm no NEET nor...

Re: Interview With NIS America’s President Part 1

Is NIS really the smallest US publisher right now? Not Xseed or Aksys? Can somebody do a headcount?

Gust Corporation: <15 employees. Having finished Ar Tonelico Qoga a few weeks ago I find that very hard to believe. Or maybe they outsource everything?

Re: Black★Rock Shooter: The Game

Just chiming in here to recommend to our dear Overlords at NIS America to consider using Sony's "PSP Remaster Engine" to bring Black Rock Shooter and other PSP Imageepoch games Stateside. I just read the president's interview and while I understand there is a problem with remastering dot g...
