Is there any voice in this game?

Postby he110ne0 » Sun Feb 22, 2015 9:09 pm

I was watching gameplay and it seems to be a mostly silent game aside from sound effects and BG music. I had been wondering if this game would have dual audio but it seems to have NO audio (voice wise). Is that accurate or are the trailers just voice-muted for some reason?

Thanks for any insight you can give!

According to what an Aksys representative told me a while ago, there is not a huge amount of VA work overall, and they decided to just keep the JPN voices, like with Xblaze Code: Embryo. Any voiced parts without text boxes will be subtitled. They also said there are, as they put them. "mood blurbs", like "hey" or "what". It's kind of like the little voice snippets in Dangan Ronpa outside of Class Trials.

I don't know if this has changed since I asked, though(it was back in January).

Edit: Here's a screencap of what they told me

Thanks! That's super helpful. I'm going to preorder the game for sure with that information. I didn't want to be stuck with only one voice option if there was going to be a ton of talking, haha. But hooray for original voices!!
