Is anyone hyped?

Postby lopez » Mon Dec 28, 2009 2:32 pm

The first game was fun, but it doesn't look like there's much differences in the sequel besides more stuff...

I'm not saying that's bad, but I was expecting some new improvements.

Is anyone hyped for this game?

I'm not nearly as hyped as I am about, say, Prinny 2, but I'm definitely interested. It looks like there are a lot of significant additions.

Mutations for Monsters
New Hero Types
Longer Story Mode
Dungeonquake Ability
Interface Improvements

Those are just the things I can remember off of the top of my head. I haven't yet beat the story mode of the first game, but I'll still pick this one up.

I'm pretty excited.

I never got the first one (I pre-ordered the UMD, but it was never made), but I'm really excited that I'm getting them both on the same UMD. :)

I'm excited. I never played the first one so the 2 games in 1 is very appealing.

I think the sequel is awesome. I loved the original, but I thought the story mode was extremely lacking. I spent all of my time on the training and challenges. Luckily, they really improved it on the second one. The biggest improvement, in my opinion, is the ability to save your game  . Couple that with all the new monsters, heroes, GUI enhancements, etc. and you've got a great title! It's been the portable game I'm most excited about since I played the original around the time I started at NIS America. It's gotta be the most addictive PSP title I've ever got my hands on. So yeah, I'm hyped.

In case you were wondering, this isn't just to plug the sequel. I like it that much.
