By submitting my resume to every gaming company in southern California every three months since my junior year of college. No joke.

I was specifically wondering how relevant a degree in Translation Studies is, compared to just having demonstrable mastery over the language or having, say, a N1 Certificate of Proficiency.

I can't speak as to the Translation Studies degree, although that does sound like a winner. And knowing Japanese is a huge plus, but not a requirement. I myself speak and understand only elementary Japanese.

There are lots of Japanese-American companies around, especially on the west coast. Keep an eye out for all potential opportunities, and remember to always follow up when you get a bite!

I keep hearing about stuff being over there. It makes sense in this case, but man, I picked the wrong side of the country to be born on. :P

Since we're on the subject of getting to know our new Overlord, now I've got a question for ya!

Have you ever watched any Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Ultraman, or any of that good stuff? :D

Yo. Enjoy your stay. Only a prinny is worthy of such a title. Good thing you meet the standards. Don't explode on us now.

Stealth games. By far. But what's worse than stealth games are stealth games that try to convince you that you can play "however you want" and you don't "have" to stealth...even though the level design, game mechanics, and in some instances the plot itself are obviously built like and for a stealth game.

The only stealth game that I've ever liked is Beyond Good and Evil, and that's basically Baby's First Stealth Game.
