Awwwwww here it goes.

This seems like the wrong thread for that complaint though.

And yet, while I WOULD like a full ENG dub, its not too annoying for me. I mean, its not as if this game is as text heavy as Neptunia V was right?

Insert "back in my day I played rpgs that had NO voice-acting whatsoever" speech. :)

Expecting as niche a series as Atelier to have full voice acting on its second voice track with the sheer amount of dialogue it has seems a bit optimistic to say the least.

You're assuming that Gust makes anything else. That's all they have in their current library with other titles, besides the Ar Tonelico series, being either flops or just curious projects at best. If TK didn't bother to bring the Atelier series out West, then their acquisition of Gust would have been a great big flop. And if TK couldn't deal with it, they could've just kept NISA on board and siphon off the sales in distribution fees.

On 7 December 2011 the financial news source Nikkei reported that Tecmo Koei had bought all shares of the company from the stakeholders for 2.2 billion yen with the intention to make social games of Gust's Atelier console role-playing game franchise.

Pretty much all they purchased Gust was for the Atelier series. I'm almost certain it isn't as niche as some of you are making it out to be.

1. It is that niche.
2. Why would they have to have considered anything outside of Japan when making the deal?

These games are so niche they sell for $15 at this one store I go to. Guess they want to get rid of all the extra copies they have.

Australian prices for games are like $80-$110 btw
