Mana Khemia Figure (German translation?)

Postby IrisMK » Sun Jan 30, 2011 8:07 pm

The preorder item for Mana Khemia apparently was a Jess figurine and I just got ahold of one myself.

I noticed written on the book she holds appears to be German writing.

I got this:
Dabei ist das studium schon so praktisch ausgelect.
Auch wenn wissen und technik im unterricht vermittelt mittelt werden sehen wir nur wenige erfolge wenn echte.
Personliche erfahrungen nicht den furschergeist nahren.

Is this right? Did anyone out there bother to look or possibly know the translation for this already? It would be great if someone knew what it said.

It was really small so I might have made some mistakes in my reading it.
Hopes for NIS releases:
Who knows. :)

It should say something like this though the german seems quite broken :

Although the academic studies are practically ??? (never heard of 'ausgelect').
Even when knowledge and technology are mediated in class,we'll only see a few real efforts.(the word order is kinda messed in this one.It should be 'Auch wenn Wissen und Technik im Unterricht vermittelt werden, sehen wir nur wenige echte Erfolge.' )
Personal expreciences won't feed the spirit of research. (it actually should read 'den forschergeist nähren.)

Hope this helps you ~

I am assuming it could be slightly off like you said and rearranged stuff. It was written by somebody in Japan, not Germany. That's probably why the German seems 'broken'. When they use English in songs it's not always completely right either as in "This is song for you" in my one Japanese song.

But thanks--that does help.

Okay--so I got the German teacher at my school to look it up as well.

This is what we kind of thought. There are three sentences-

1. By that means, is the study already so practically designed.
We thought it is probably referring to the alchemy. Alchemy is an exact science: A+B=C. Meaning it is already layed out for the students in an exact way.

2. Also if knowledge and technology in instruction are averagely imparted, we only see a little amount of success when (if) authentic.
Basically the instruction must be well taught for success not just half-heartedly.

3. Nuture personal experiences (discovery) not the spirit of research.
Don't just take it straight from the textbook--go try it yourself.

I'm not saying you are wrong or anything--that's just how she translated it. If anyone else agrees with this or anything just let me know.
