I think these would be funnier if they didn't constantly say that the game was some kind of horrible trash -_-

It just feels like them bashing a game, rather than having a humorous take on how ridiculous opening scenes can be

They have actually said they quite often enjoy the games they make fun of, at least the decent ones (they have done some quite frankly terrible games), and the fact they go and point out that only the Arland series has the ridiculous names shorted to something slightly less ridiculous to have as a title shows they actually know what they're talking about.
