It's somewhat a different style from what I've usually heard, although only hearing her work from a single series with a strongly themed setting can explain that, but good to know she makes music sound as awesome as always. :D
Like the track is what I can only assume is some sort of battle music, which sounds great.

machinemaiden wrote:I support this totally, wanted it since I saw info about it  but I see this more of an Atlus localization then NISA to be honest.

Indeed, Atlus is more likely to localize this than NISA, since they own the publishing rights in Japan and whatnot, but I figured that posting it here would make sense too, since this is where more of the Atelier fans are at! :)

So really, fans of the Atelier series should head over to the Atlus forums to show support too! The topic there isn't getting nearly as much love as it is over here. (And even then, this one isn't as big as other bigger name titles I guess)

machinemaiden wrote:Still disappointed Lina was passed over, I even pre-ordered Annie to show support!

Indeed, I feel the same way. :( I preordered Annie as well, and I reallly wanted Lina to come over. But I had to settle for importing (which I just did as I saw it on sale on Play-Asia when I was randomly looking to see if it was still in stock. )

machinemaiden wrote:Siiiigggh, what I wouldn't give for this and Atelier Elkrone ~Dear for Otomate~ to be localized.

That would be amazing, really. Frankly, I'd support anything made by GUST! I just kind of hope it's not on the PSP... It'd have much less chances of being localized if it is. :(

Oaklee wrote:atelier series would be great without time limitation, it really does ruin the joy of exploration...

I disagree as well, frankly you have plenty of time to do whatever you want in both Rorona and Annie if you play your cards right! Trust me! Also, if you do want those kinds of games, I guess you should check out the Iris trilogy or Mana-Khemia, maybe even the Ar tonelico games if you haven't already.

There's actually a few more tracks under the "Special" tab on the official site. They're all pretty nice. :)

Also, I was talking with Cless of Phantasian Productions, and he pointed out that Atlus has yet to skip any "in-house" games in terms of localization (I'd count Sting as second party at most!)... And technically Nora is "in-house" as it's made by the Etrian Odyssey team, and they never skipped any of those... So maybe, just maybe... /hopeful

Those five? The same ones that are in the drop-down menu as well? Listened to all of those already. :D

Curses!
A track with whistles has emerged, as I feared it would.
Now I'm more sold on it.

That's what some used to say about Etrian Odyssey and now we have had all three localized here. I would say this game has a good chance to be localized by Atlus.

Its a combination of the ds being history really. I am still shocked by them doing DS 2

The opening video is up! It's looking good. I'm so hyped. It's coming out next week in Japan! Hope we can get news from Atlus or someone within the next few months for localization or not...

Also, the boxart is super adorable. :)

And to be honest, if the platform really is the big issue, the 3DS is pretty much completely backward compatible, so I don't see why DS games still can't be released! Nora would still be able to be played by people that have moved onto the 3DS. And there are a TON of DS owners out there in comparison to 3DS ones right now as well, considering how well the DS did in it's lifetime!

Its all up to atlus. If they are doing DS 2

and they arent doing other ds and psp games

Thats because they dont want to, not because it isnt profitable

It's partly because retailers will eventually stop putting DS games on display.

A GUST game?! This game has no reason NOT to be released here! Everyone has a DS, we all love Atelier games and this game looks surprisingly good!

I support this~ ^O^
