I'm not trying to offend you or anything, but atleast try to post your help request in the general chat thread, since this is a game request thread. Though im pretty sure that they would configure the vita to be able to play the psp games.... not that i would know though since i dont have it...

Seeing as it's about how far people are willing to go to play this game, I'd say it probably fits.
Game request threads usually are general chat about the game in question, as otherwise there'd be only a few dozen posts of all the people who want to show their support for it and then the thread would lie dormant and get buried.

Digital versions of psp games can be downloaded on the Vita, but cannot use UMDs.

Well, not all PSP games are supported on the Vita either yet, but they're working on those as far as I know.

I've heard rumors that SEGA may release a re-mastered version of VC2 and VC3 onto the PS3 or something, but that may just be trolls or whatnot throwing us false bones. Let's just hope SEGA grows a brain or two and sends us something else besides a damned blue hedgehog.

I don't think NISA has the rights to localize this, but I can't really say. But anyway SOMEONE better do it, because this series is a gem. It's already a dirty rotten shame that they moved its development from PS3 to PSP, but to cut off localization completely should be a crime! I honestly think they should give it another shot because this game's reputation grew after its release. LIke Chrono trigger, nobody heard of that game when it was new. I had the game, and played it, and nobody else even heard of it, or cared...then like 10 years later, countless fanboy noobs who played it first on some emulator everywhere would flame me for not acknowledging it as the best game ever.

Sometimes a game needs some time, and I sincerely think this series is one of those examples.

Indeed, jumping from PS3 to PSP probably wasn't the best idea. I'm not saying I do it, but there is a lot of "Stuff" out there that lets us snatch things over the counter, if you know what I mean. SO! That probably killed at least 1/3 of SEGA's sales for VC2 + all the VC1 fanboys that raged at the fact they had to buy a smaller PS2 in order to play their damn sequel (didn't like that). In any case, the question of whether or not SEGA really is barring us from VC3 has yet to be answered officially but I can hear it through what SEGA has been doing.
