Just do both. Alternate paragraphs with translated Japanese and English. That way if there's someone who can't understand one, there should be someone who could understand the other.

Houk wrote:The only way we would be able to localize this title is if Sega came to us directly and asked us to do it for some reason. This isn't the kind of game a small publisher like us can go bid on, since it's already owned by a huge publisher in Japan with the ability to release it in the US themselves if they want to.

What if they said they weren't going to do it themselves, like Valkyria Chronicles 3? I dunno how that mess works.

If for some reason they decided to do that, and then for some other reason decided to come to us for it, sure. But that would be 100% on them, and it's hard for me to imagine a scenario where that actually ends up happening.

I tried to email Sega in english also and they said they only accept japanese emails. But I'm gonna try the alternating lines of english and japanese.

From my perspective, if we do not make a move they not going to came for us. we need to let them know that people on USA want the game, and not only that. We need to let them know how good will be to do that and how much it probably the game will sell. we need to motivate them, but if for some reason they didn't think for bring them. We the NIS America need to make them see that America want to localize the game, and if it is possible if they do not thought to brign it, the NIS america can doit.

but We need to let them know the benefit of bring the game. one example its what happen on the toyota event. bring any reference, comentary, discussion (like this forum topic) that can show how much people want Hatsune Miku and how well the game could sell on America.

its that Possible Houk? could you or the NIS America help us too?

Wow, so they still have to come to you. Messy business.

I wasn't really asking for this game (don't particularly care about it or 3DS in any way), but I was just curious about how that usually works out.

This isn't an NIS game and even if we put our efforts behind it there's no guarantee they would ask us to help. Sorry, but this is 100% out of our hands.

Daverost - it isn't always that way, but any time a big Japanese dev/pub already has a US publishing arm, there generally isn't much we can do. I mean we've worked with Sega in the past, so they (and other devs) know it's always an option to come to us, but it's not like an independent Japanese studio where we can make a bid for a game and go from there.

If i remember correctly NIS America published a game from a once big publisher Jaleco for the DS called Puchi Puchi Virus and that's not a NIS game

so why not bring Project Mirai to the US?
Sure there are hurdles but it wouldn't hurt to try to please 3DS owners more with even more quality titles

There is a world, a galaxy of difference between Puchi Puchi Virus and this.

I still don't think thats an adequate measure Houk. The difference is so massive its hard to find a proper measurement bro.

No kidding, it's more like parallel universes apart. Better luck waiting for a miniature big bang mate, sorry.
