Yes this game has like ZERO chances of ever seeing the light of day over here, but it looks really fun, and it's an SRPG, and surely that's reason to bring it over right? It's not just because of the cute girls and stuff right?

It possibly is also a Vita game in the future. No way to know that for sure though.

There's also a PSP version and a 3DS version, but the PS3 version has more, so that's why I'm not putting much effort towards the other versions.

One nice thing about this game, is that it was all-ages from the beginning, and was never an Eroge. So, nothing had to be cut to bring it on the PS3/PSP/3DS.

From what I've seen, the PS3 version also seems to have the most crisp graphics. With the PSP version being the worst of course.

Either the designers were too lazy when they designed the battle map and sprites or the girls are actually REALLY tall and tower over the land.

It's been a long time since I played the 1st 2 PSP games, but I believe they were set in World War II which are also on Nintendo DS and Xbox 360. Gendaiban is more modern which is 1 reason why it has a different cast. I think Genbaiban++ is either a remake or a sequel to the most recent one for PSP but in HD for PS3.

PS Vita is very likely to get this series sooner or later as well as 3DS if it hasn't been announced already but may not be the same game.

This series has always reminded me of Strike Witches.

Ok then how about this, Moe Moe Daisensou Gendaiban 3D has been out on the 3DS since a month ago.

Does it have everything the PS3 version will have? I see no point in asking for the lesser version if it doesn't. But I don't know. The '++' makes me think the PS3 version has more though.

PS3 version I believe adds 5 more characters with more story scenes that those new characters would be part of, a Survival Mode, and some mini-game. The only real advantage I can see with the 3DS version is getting to play it in 3D but probably being more closer to what the PSP version was like.

I would have imported the 3DS version to make sure if they were the same or not, but the lack of the 3DS not being region free has prevented me from doing so as well as other 3DS games.

I think being able to play it on a tv screen would be better. Like I remember playing the older games on PSP, and remembered feeling that the battle map felt kind of crampt

Yeah, that pretty much confirms that the 3DS version isn't worth campaigning for.

New characters and story is a pretty huge addition.

And 3D is such a hit/miss thing for people, it's not worth thinking about.

The BGM on the site is pretty catchy, and it switches with each section you're in, which is pretty nifty ~

This is why the PSP and 3DS version don't matter as much. They're far too different. Those 3D maps rock ~
