Grand Knights History

Since XSEED canceled the North American release, is there any chance NISA would be able to pick it up? I realize it probably doesn't work like that, but I was really looking forward to the game.

From what I understand, the problem with this game was that nobody at XSEED can enter the translations and Vanilla is too busy on Dragon's Crown to do it themselves. I believe NISA would have the exact same problem XSEED did.

Also, the pessimist in me believes that, at this point, requesting any PSP games for localization is futile. Especially from NISA.

Pretty much, yeah. Although XSEED and Atlus still have a few PSP games in the works.

there are rumours that this will get a vita port instead and that they'll localise it, but rumours are just that... rumours... though why the hell not? atlus came to save the day with dragon's crown... since its localization with ps3 and vita was dropped... if this does have a vita port/remake, i'd be happy to buy it. but for now, i guess i'll have to rely on the english patch for grand knights history...

I'd almost be willing to pay for the script so I can play my copy easier...

If NISA decides not to localize it, then maybe Aksys will. They pretty much are one of the only companies localizing PSP games now-a-days.

You have to remember, the problem is that the company who would be doing the programming for the game just decided it wasn't worth their time. You need a localization company that has programmers to do it. Otherwise, it's not happening. And NISA/Aksys/Xseed do not have programmers. I'm not sure about Atlus, but I THINK Namco Bandai/SE have programmers.
