Also adds Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens manga

The North American anime distributor Bandai Entertainment has announced at its Comic-Con International panel on Thursday that it acquired the license to the Tales of the Abyss and Turn A Gundam television anime series. Tales of the Abyss is a 26-episode anime adaptation of the popular Namco Bandai role-playing game of the same name. Turn A Gundam is the 1999 television anime series written and directed by Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino for Gundam's 20th anniversary. The series also features music by Yoko Kanno and mechanical designs by Blade Runner's Syd Mead
=================================

Hooray for ToA and Kannagi. I just finished watching the Kannagi anime about a week ago and loved the heck out of it, and I've heard the manga is pretty good, too. Loved ToA the game and heard the anime adaption is pretty good, so that will be a definite buy for me.

Never really been a Gundam fan, but I'm sure that makes a lot of people happy.

I've seen the first TotA anime and while it was somewhat different, I still enjoyed it very much.

ToA is a must have! The anime is probably the best video game turn anime adaption ever! As long as they can get the same VAs from the game I'll buy it, if not I'll have to pass.

Considering the fact that BANG ZOOM handled the game's dub, the possibility of that happening is actually fairly high. But I wouldn't guarantee it.

Hard to say if Tales of the Abyss will dubbed or not. Bandai had English actors for the Dot Hack// G.U. games but the movie was subtitled only, plus Bang Zoom has been quite angry with people who make fan subs for anime to download and has even said they might not do more dubs because of that. But I suppose Haruhi will definitely still be dubbed because people bought that series.

As am I. I felt they did an excellent job from top to bottom on the game's dub. Which made me mad that they didn't dub the skits, because most of those were great and would have been even better voiced.
