Highly super recommended for any fans of stuff like Yuru Yuri

I love Yuru Yuri and GJ-Bu and have always found Hidamari to be unapologeticly boring.

Really unfortunate. I'm not sure why, as it has everything those shows have really (And it has actual time progression over Yuru Yuri. but I guess that could be a detractor for some people). Maybe you just don't like Shaft that much? You seem to talk down about their stuff a lot.

I don't mind Shaft, I like quite a few of the things they've done. I don't really understand the pedestal some people put them on though.

I don't think Hidamari actually does have what Gj and Yuru Yuri has. Gj and Yuru Yuri both have interesting characters and a good sense of humor. Yuru Yuri is even slightly over the top. Hidamari's characters aren't really interesting, and it's just not that funny. If you are going to do slice of life, I think you at least need to try to be funny, and I don't think Hidamari tries for that. It just tries to be this mundane thing that I don't really find all that interesting.

Non Non Biyori has the same problem.

I guess it's just a style of humor thing then

Because I was laughing really hard throughout Hidamari

And of course I've been laughing a lot during NNB too

Shaft just has a way with art that is really provoking and creative. Especially fitting for a show focused on art.

Dragon Ball is one of my favorites too when I was a child. I've just watched the new movie of DB (Kami vs. Kami??) last months ago, it was great. Now that you mention it, I can't wait to play the new DB game in my Vita (glad that they add Mr.Bill though) :D

Haha, yeah. At first I thought it was serious crossovers but their dialog and scenes are great. Glad that picked this up! :D

I just finished Attack on Titan. Now I'm looking for something dark and/or psychological, and of you can recommend some titles it would be awesome :)
