*patiently waits for impending fan-gasm* ;)

Good ending IMO, wrapped up nicely to an extent.

Spoiler:
So Rammie's gift was to revert Yuuji from being a Torch? Does that not turn him back into a human and thus he'll die in <100 years? O.o Or did I miss something?

Spoiler:
He was given an existence of his own, he still has the Reiji Maigo though. He and Shana are pretty much eternal, which is why I think that Takahashi could pull it back up in the future and continue with a new story set in Xanadu.

Sad that Shakugan no Shana as a series is over...

It doesn't mean a new work won't spring up in the future, though. I've sill yet to watch the final episode, since most of my family has been here for the past week, but I'll get around to it soon.

Since I read the novels, I knew how it would end, save for the fact that JC Staff excluded Shana's song. That was a bit of a disappointment. =/

Which song is that? I'm at work so I can't check, but I think the insert song for the final battle was Hishoku no Sora... definitely gave me chills when it started playing.

This ending pleases me.
Spoiler:
Sakai gets his well-deserved punch in the gut, then its happy ever after :D

Great use of Hishoku no Sora, and I quite like the one that played after that (I'm not familiar with it, but gonna have to look it up).

So in the novels, Shana sang a song herself? I would've liked to hear that I think.

Hishoku no Sora you say!? HOLY CRAP!

Ah and it's the song that Wilhelmina sang to Shana in one of the older flashbacks.
It's Mathilde's love song that she sang to Alastor.

Wilhelmina apparently sang it to Shana earlier in the seriously, and it bugged Alastor a lot. Either way, it was a love song that she sang, and that was heard all throughout Misaki City.

If you are curious to hear Shana sing look up "Exist" the Opening to Shakugan no Shana DS/PS2.
Still... I was really looking forward to that, and they denied us of it.

Oh well... Hishoku no Sora will be awesome when I hear it in the episode... which is DLing... >_>

Dammit... didn't think I would, but I did... I cried.
Shana was a lot more to me than just an anime, but I won't go into that here... or maybe ever. But still, it ended really well, I enjoyed it... they had MAMI KAWADA SING SHANA'S SONG.

The ED theme was pretty close to what Shana's song was, so that was fine.

Spoiler:
HOOOOOOOOOLY SHIT, READINIG IT WAS GREAT, BUT SEEING IT!?
MY GOD. JUST... WHAT.

The fight, Hishoku no Sora, Yuji's declaration, everyone remembering him for those few second. Lamies' gift activating.... BEST. ENDING. IT. COULD. HAVE. HAD.

With this ending... I don't WANT Takahashi to continue it or make a spin off in any way possible. I know he will since he has expressed a desire to do so... but as long as he DOESN'T RUIN THE SANCTITY OF THIS ENDING. JUST.....

WOW.

My sis is going to have a fangirl moment when she catches up... that was just.... WOW. I know it doesn't matter to most here but I wanna say it somewhere....

Thank you JC Staff, Mami Kawada, Kotoko, Altima, Yashaschiro Takahashi and EVERYONE INVOLVED WITH SHANA.

It couldn't have been any better for me.
