No new EPs until the 6th of January, it's the typical New Year's break ~

Just watched episode 13 on Nico, and I absolutely loved it.
Not going to post anything since I was reading through novel summaries, and this is where I last stopped. So from here on out; save for the ending, I am completely oblivious to what might happen ~<3

Still, it was great! And Shana preatically gave away that the new opening "Serment" will start next week.

Spoiler:
What with all that talk of a kiss being her one sided vow, and Serment meaning vow or oath ~ Lol

I'd say in terms of plot, this was the best episode this season.

Episode 13 was pretty awesome. xD

Spoiler:
Shana's swordfight with Yuji was awesome. I hope the wound Sabrac inflicted on Khamsin isn't fatal or anything. Ah, yes. I did feel pretty bad for Sabrac and Mare.

I kind of hope that the new opening will start next week, but I'd lol prettty hard if it doesn't. xD

New Shana OPs start with episode 14, next week? Episode 14 ~ 8-)
Which means in an upcoming fight, Light my Fire will play when Shana is kicking ass ~<3

Spoiler:
Just how Hishoku no Sora played after "being" started in Shana I, and how JOINT played when she finished Sabrac off. Now I am going to watch her kick his ass with JOINT playing, since that episode aired exactly a year after I started home school. It's nostalgia fodder for me ~<3

I was right, the new OP was today ~

I uploaded it as well:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PDVmX24oYw

It's the most visually impressive OP ever, also my avatar is from it, not episode 14, so don't worry... it's not a spoiler. >_<

Double posting... meh.

Anyway!
I am very pleased with this episode, enough action to keep me tied over, and not one... but TWO epic speeches! Given the name of this episode, that was almost guaranteed but man oh man am I happy ~

One thing that bugs me...
Spoiler:
Is that the denizens began to MURDER the Flame Haze, THAT. DIDN'T. HAPPEN. IN. THE. NOVELS.
Snake specifically told the Denizens to REFRAIN from killing the surrendering Falme Haze!!!!!!

It really DID NO FIT with ONE playing in the background! >_<
However, the rest of the episode was epic, and Yuji yellow for the flame haze to listen was epic. I was REALLY hoping that speech would be done in his voice, there will be one that HE personally does... but I wanted that to be it. *sigh*

Well, whatever ~
Best episode yet, really setting it up for the GRANDE FINALE... only ten episodes left... as much as I hate to say that T_T

Yeah, I was kind of surprised about that.

Spoiler:
What better way to say "This effing war is over" than to tell his minions to pull back and let the Flame Hazes go? That might hurt their morale even more, realizing they were totally on the ropes but the Snake of the Festival is completely serious about putting an end to the fighting and not wanting any more people to die.

Spoiler:
I really bugged me that the Novel author would allow that, especially when he wanted Snake to be painted as a merciful God. I mean unless it happens later, it won't happen.

Since the Yuji side took over and said it, and snake agreed with him in the novel... then again...
Seeing as how the flame haze are still there, I can see Snake/Yuji both declaring for the Denizens to quit killing the Flame Haze.

Since he DID say Xanadu would be a paradise for Denizens of Crimson and those who know of the crimson world <_<

just watched ep 14, this season is really awesome, but at the same time it feels awkward because its a lot more dynamic compared to the previous 2 seasons :?

Because JC Staff took too many creative freedoms, and omitted a lt of stuff.
The novel author stepped in this time and is overseeing this season's production.

Takahashi was the "Story Supervisor" on all three seasons, so his role as a consultant hasn't actually changed. It's roughly the same writing team (led by Yasuko Kobayashi, with Seishi Minakami and Hideki Shirane also returning to work on scripts) this time, but they're sticking to the source just to wrap things up as neatly as they can.

Seasons 1 and 2 were drastically modified to give each iteration distinct focus and structure.

I wait for SS-Eclipse, so I finally got to see episode 14. Since I've finally settled in on Shana 3 as more of a war/politics story than the "superhuman secret battles" of S1 and S2, this episode really was quite masterful.

Spoiler:
I was also a bit confused that the Tomogara started slaughtering the Flame Haze, since it seemed like Yuuji/Sairei no Hebi was saying "Hey guys, we just want to leave, chill." Since they kept zooming in on Yuuji's face, I figured that meant he approved of it. Disappointing that they didn't follow the novels, since the scenario of both sides pulling back makes more sense and is much more interesting than "oh mans, he used his WORDS to turn the tide! How sneaky!"

I'm kind of annoyed that the OP still has a lot of exposure on Kazumi and the other school kids when they've pretty much had zero presence in the season. It's like they're purposely trying to say "Yeah, this season is totally the same as the last 2 seasons" when it's completely not.

Uhhh k, well just keep watching. It's more of a "Love conquers all" type thing IMO; this is relating to the anime not novels.

Spoiler:
OP Focuses on Yoshida and the others since they should come into play again soon. This is just an assumption on my part, but I do know Yoshida isn't worthless. Remember "Giralda", the OP kinda gives away what her importance is... well I am assuming. I knew up until ep 15; yes I know I said 14 but 15 had a lot of new stuff and old too...

^this was in regards to your comment, not ep 15...

Episode 15:
Spoiler:
FINALLY, FINA-FREAKING-LY, the four God's get involved, all the best battle themes fromt eh series play and a new ED! The ED that was played will play off and on it's called u/n and it is on Mami's new album with the OP theme.

Anyway Batille, Lieu de la Batille Decisive, and Art Du Sabre~!
Sydonay, Margery, the Flame Haze pull off the BEST DAMN RETREAT TACTIC EVER. MY GOD, THAT WAS AWESOME.

Margery, the God of Earth, Shana, and Wilhelmina against Sydonay... YES JUST YES.
This anime is AMAZING, the quality this episode was GREAT. I had never seen JC staff animate scenes the way they did here, and it REALLY WORKED OUT.

Can't WAIT, since I know EXACTLY WHAT ARC IS NEXT!
This... is going to be epic!

Oh and Kiara and Sale, just badass. Seriously.
But yeah, the next arc will be awesome !<3

Just watched 13 & 14, was definitely epic.

Spoiler:
Was also a little thrown than the Tomogara just slaughtered the Flame Haze after the Serpent declared the end.
