Seems like you need the common gaming terminology rather than physics and chemistry (based on Ep 1 & 2).

The series isn't following the Manga, it's following the Novel, which has about 9~10 Volumes out IIRC. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

Hmm, RPG terms I guess, nothing or difficult to understand yet. The first enemy/protagonist did mention something along the lines of adjusting stat points from leveling up. Some people might go "what?" but it's pretty common knowledge among any RPG game. Also minor terms like NPC and Avatars.

I haven't read the Light Novel but from what I can see, there will probably be some later on but it's not too strong right now. There was some 'moments' in this episode but nothing dramatic.

It is indeed, though it was more of in a metaphoric way of asking him and getting rejected. Not your usual "I love you, please go out wit me" type confession/rejection.
