Started my Kanata playthrough and...

I wanted to hear more of Tsubaki, Kate Higgins is one of my favorite voice actors!

Tsubaki WAS great ^-^ I just found Kanata hisself to be annoying...
Makes it really hard to get through his playthrough. I won't be grinding much on this one probably, because I will just want it to be over with. Then I can get the true ending on my next Riz playthrough, and get all kinds of other stuffz done ^-^

Plus, I'm trying to get mana for the managraphs that are on kanata's side only, since the IM's wan't transfer in new game plus... but once I get the last few mana's, I'm just gonna do story missions to beat this story.

As long as you make the managraph, it'll transfer over just fine. Just make sure to de-equip any managraphs before you fight the final battle.

is it just me, or do the voices drop off a lot more than on Riz's path? I've seen the voices drop on and off in the same scene without even hitting a loading screen. I don't remember ever seeing something like that in Riz's story.

This was partially an organization error. Since scenes overlapped, sometimes we voiced a scene for Riz but the overlapping scenes in Kanata's story had lines before or after... and we didn't quite catch that in time, so... yeah. Apologies for those.

Now that I think back, it looks like you get to keep everything you had equipped. Though there does seem to be a strange system to what materials you get to keep...

So, don't worry too much about it. You WILL lose any IM's you had left over, but as long as you make sure to get them made into managraphs, then it won't be a big deal.

Ok, cool. I'll makes sure to do that. I think all I have to make now is the quil one. the electric element one.

you lose the recipe for the Managraphic image, but not the Managraphic images themselves. You keep all equipment, be it equipped or not. you keep all meteorites, you keep all your money, you lose all your convert points, but you keep the convert shop.
And you lose just about all materials, some you keep... not sure why. you can stock up on 99 platinum bars and ores, though, i think... though in hindsight i'm not sure, you can at least stock up on high level equips to convert in your new game+ ( which is a good idea, since you won't be able to buy any more till you're in late-game )

Do I keep manas? Because I have over 1000 idol mana's, and I would liker use those to get mizuki's best armors and stuff

How many chapters are there in both playthrough? Is one longer than another?

Both storylines are 13 chapters long. Upon entering the "True End" route the final chapter is expended by another dungeon and boss fight.
