So I finished watching it last night and I was saddened to see that people here were right about the ending being disappointing. I didn't read any spoilers, but just knowing that people were disappointed I could tell why before the final episode hit.

Basically for me it was they were building it all up and when i was on the last few eps I know there was no way they could wrap it all up that quickly. There is so many answers left untold. And I know in the end they say things like there will always be mysteries and they will continue to look for the answers as they find themselves, but I feel that as more of a cop out then it is being philosophical.

Also his confirmation with his dad was lacking. They seemed to find him way too easy, the battle with him was way to easy and quick and then it was all over with a few choice words. The fact that all that happened in one ep was just too rushed.

Well hopefully they will make a season 2. Although it may be hard since the the anime ended WAY differently than the manga, which is still ongoing.

In fact, I HIGHLY recommend reading the manga. The story is more deep and since it is ongoing it answers (as well as creates) a lot of questions. Every time I finish reading the new issue each month I am left with wanting more and an face at the end, lol!

Well so far vol 3 has been published in English, maybe four. So it will be a while.

when an anime ends... i always check the manga to see if it really is where it ends.... hopefully they make a season 2... i hate reading XD manga is the only exception i could ever make when it came to reading a novel XD

Season 2 is really needed I do love the anime to death and my mom liked it beside she thought it was Alice in Wonderland with a twist
