Not necessarily, Compa could prove formidable depending on her moveset. If she were designed as a hit and run zoner, she could easily zone you out with injector shots, and should she manage to poison you, if her keepaway is strong enough, you could get royally boned by an obnoxious playstyle. Add in the possibility of a healing super and Compa could be one of the most annoying characters to fight. That said, Iffy would obviously be an RTSD character, so if she can get in, it'd likely be all over for Compa.

Honestly, I want the Neptune franchise to be large and endless. I think just about -every- idea I heard here was a good one. A classic 2D RPG, a racing game, a party game, a fighter, a platformer, none of it sounds bad to me. Also given how many corporations are actually involved with the game, I can easily see it becoming that large.

Also as far as the handheld debate goes, I do not like handhelds either -unless- I can play them on a TV. I own a DS and it annoys me, and I don't plan to own a 3DS unless a lot of games come out for it that I want. My thoughts on Vita can be found elsewhere. Personally I would like to see hypothetical handheld Neptune games come out on the PSP, but I realize there is almost no chance of that since it is dying in the West. So, I guess I would agree we should stick to consoles.

It's not exactly a "current trend," Before MvC3, the most recent Vs. title was TvC, back in '08, so two games + 1 update in four years, Capcom has always been the other end of Vs. series... Further, Capcom has "fought" Marvel, Tatsunoko, and SNK (Namco as well, but X and Vs games play very differently to the point where I separate them with parenthesis :3), not exactly "everyone" there, either
