The cake that has yet to exist in this thread, and icing with questionable existence on top of that.

Unless all you're doing is looking at the dungeons and monsters, then it should be pretty clear what you got. That they used the same layout is irrelevant, especially considering all three DLC packs were only $1.

They'll even go beyond me if they go for all the plans. And I'm pretty sure it's not healthy if you do more than me anyway.

And it includes quite a few things besides just some reused dungeon maps. The things in the maps, including lots of droppable stuff from enemies, along with plans and coliseum items as well maybe? For $1, you get your level increased by 300, new dungeons (even if they don't look new), stuff to get and do in them, and some stuff to do in the coliseum. That's quite a bang for your buck - literally.

Considering whatever it may be, one could argue that they do plenty.

It is. Every complaint made in this thread has shown up on 4chan as well. The reused dungeons, the $20 budget, etc. I can look through the foolz archive when I get home to pull more screenshots, but I'll leave it at this one.

I don't really like the idea personally of selling level-cap increases. Imagine if NIS did that for Disgaea? *shudder*

It is definitely better than Victory and Mk2 in that it's cheaper and packaged with other stuff, but the idea should likely be scrapped in general and my primary concern is that VII will go back to Victory-tier pricing because it's a new game.

Well, they're two different series. With Disgaea, grinding to huge levels is a part of the game that they're selling. With Neptunia, I think the idea is "The game we're selling to you ends at level 99, but if you want to have the option to keep going, here's some extra stuff you can do and a limit breaker to do it with!" - which isn't necessarily a good idea, I'll give you that, but I can see the mindset at least.

Who said they do compare? You're also conveniently ignoring the fact FF14 was so bad it was pulled from the market. A budget on the order of millions does not automatically make something good, nor does a shoestring budget make something automatically bad. These games are niche JRPGS that appeal greatly to that niche fanbase. You're trying to apply them to a demographic they had no intention of seeking out in the first place.

I know all about XIV, it got better, you can't fix Neptunia games however, and I don't really count porting Victory to Vita and calling it Re;Birth as fixing the first game. I just want new conent in my neptunia games.
I expect a remake to be just that, remade from the ground up, not Victory lite.

You can only go through the same factory level so many times without getting bored of it.

Anything can be fixed. Some people just don't want it fixed. Not including me.
This is what Ben Carson will do to political correctness. I approve.

You're taking my complaints to heart Mr., if you're now trying to claim I post on 4chan as well as get everyone against me, you're like what? nearly 30? That's kids stuff. Sorry Neptunia is a touchy subject for you.

A dollar for something already in the game is a dollar too much.
You wouldn't let anyone else get away with it, but it's okay when Compile Heart does it I guess.

Just because I think the series is mediocre doesn't mean I hate it. I enjoy the characters.
if Pore can get away with hating this series I don't see how me thinking the series is 5/10 at best is such a trigger for you.

I don't joke about cancer, Might be okay for you 4chan guys but not to me.

Don't dogs with bones tend to keep to themselves in a corner somewhere as they enjoy their bone while the adults talk about other things like climate change and the carbon tax?
