It's an artbook. The one on the left instead is a book (600 pages) on the production of a certain series.

It's called "Precure Syndrome!" and it's an in-depth book about the genesis of Yes! Precure 5 (and its sequel GoGo) and the first Precure All Stars DX Movie. It features interviews and a lot of interesting info such as inspirations and such.

Now i'm scared to put it on lol, because the mid piece is pretty large and will be hard to put on without screwing up.

I'm ok with the phone covers. I think. There's not much space to work with.

I once put on skins for my xbox. If I recall, the best way to do it was to wet the system with a little water and then place the skin. The water allows you to move the skin with minimal fuss and without the adhesive sticking. Once in place you can squeeze out the water under the adhesive to remove air bubbles and excess water.
