I think ill replace nisa first. She doesnt seem bad, in fact she seems great. Her attacks hurt as much as nep's, she has a better heal than compa, and she has an attack buff. But i really just dont like her as a character. Her constant shouting bellowing is a minus for me too.

I used the CPU Candidates and had them all wearing their Lastation outfits with black cat ears. XD

You're iffy about switching Iffy out? 8-)

I didn't rush either, I did all of the guild quests and spent a few hours alone just getting the Metal Dogoo to drop Metal Jelly, I beat the game with a time of 27 hours, it took me 40 to beat the first IIRC but this game is more streamlined and the plot moves along a lot quicker.

Yeah, it's about 1/2 as long as the first, but I bought this as a casual game anyways, so it is doing its job...I'll probably just finish the game soon since I'm at 20 hours right now, and locked to the Domination ending anyways from the looks of things

Well, I have quite some things to say about this game...
Nepgear is just so adorable!! :3
Played from 10PM to 3AM in a session last night. I was rather disquieted when...well,
Spoiler:
to see the original Goddesses bound by tentacles... ;(

Anyway, it was quite fresh to see the dynamic cutscenes and animation. They really casted some magic into the graphics with cel-shading. Me likes... :)

As for the gameplay, it's definitely more complex (in my opinion). Played through the first couple of battles and got rather excited because of the new soundtrack approach (SWEET RAVE PARTY! lol). Even my brother (who isn't even interested in anime-like games, especially RPGs) said he wanted to try this game out, but I told him you gotta play the prequel first... :P

However, when Linda showed up, I became rather infuriated as that damn gun nearly chops half of my HP down! :x

I lost two times, that is until I figured out you move in closer so she can't do her ranged attack and hit me with melee attacks; then I clobbered the crap outta her!

Overall, I think the difficulty has stepped up tremendously (again, in my opinion), so I actually have to think this time without spamming all my foes with Limit Breaks. I also seem to keep forgetting about the SP system alot, so when I go to use a skill, I often wondered to myself why it's blacked out. I just keep forgetting you need both AP and SP to use it. Also, why does Nepgear only stay in HDD form for like two turns? Is I doing something wrong? :?

Right now, up to Lastation with the "rat thing". I do like this game, and I like it a LOT, but it's gonna take more time to break into than the first game...

Every Goddess/Sister will lose 15 SP per turn while transformed, if it reaches 0 they transform back. They probably did that so that they aren't OP like they were in the first one. They overdid it a bit though imo.

Near the end of the game, it was pretty easy for me to stay in CPU form to be quite honest...made the last few bosses a bit easy

Anyways, beat the game, somehow avoided the Domination Ending, even though I had all the requirements to get it, so I'm happy heh...beat it using a team of Noire, Nepgear, IF, and 5pb, so I didn't take the route of using all CPUs...and I finished at a pretty decent 28 hours...so not bad

I have all the CPU's in my front lines now, managed to see the team attack human form version, totally annihilated the Plaid Dolphin. But I'm confused how to activate it in normal battle rather than a symbol attack.

But yeah, picking a front line is hard. Nepgear, Uni, Rom and Ram or replace Ram with IF is what I'm feeling towards. Hard to decide.

On the other hand, in the first game there was absolutely no reason to not transform...

The main issue mainly is with skills. You can start a battle with up to 100 SP, and if you transform immediately that means at least six turns - and combos can increase that easily (you can outpace the 15 SP decrease per turn without much trouble). But using skills eats up SP and will reduce the amount of turns you get transformed. So you have to be careful to not waste SP with skills if you want to stay transformed and only use them when needed or when you raised SP high enough.
Sik is pronounced like "seek", not like "sick".

It's exactly as you said sik, that's the reason you'll barely use any skills at all during the game.

Yeah, I really only used skills with the CPUs/Candidates to clear enemies when doing small grinds...and sometimes to finish off bosses...though with 5pb I always used skills when I got the chance heh

Variety is the spice of life, I use skills a good amount, I feel it'd get boring otherwise.

Yeah her skills are quite useful, especially the one the paralyzes enemies. Makes battles against regular enemies so much easier.
