SakiChan wrote:Getting them models actually would be kinda hard. All I can say is getting textures does work, but depends on the file size of the original file and how they're organized. From what I tried, Metaseq didn't really work with Atelier Totori's model files,so I dunno about those from CH since it's a pain to extract these anyways in all ways :?

You have to convert the textures to png. Bmps do not work in Metaseq. I successfully got Finnel into metaseq with no problems, Suzunomia too.

I still find it impossible to do anything with these models. Super-encrypted crap is impossible...

I already have Meruru's and Qoga's files extracted though. I'm done with GUST right now.

Thanks to the help of howfie from Xentax forums, I am now able to extract the model files from Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2. I am very, very, VERY grateful to him. I owe my largest gratitude. I am in great debt to him. They will be extract ASAP and they will be converted to many file types.

SUCCESS. The girls I currently have extracted are: Nepgear, Uni, Rom, Ram, and Neptune. I will update the list when I have successfully added textures and converted the girls.

It's probably possible with ANY game, but the difficulty is Dependant on the individual game and the platform(and the format of the files) more than the game's genre.

Very easy if the game runs DX9.

What would you even do with the models after extracting them?

You can easily do stuff with them. Play around with them, edit them, etc.

I'd say it'd be a lil' difficult for normal people to just plain edit the textures, seeing as thex work a bit different from the .psd file we got for Nepgear.

Or get a 3D printer... There are 3D printers with a reasonable size for home use already, in fact (even if they aren't marketed like that, they do the job). They're like around $1500 (actually I think there were some cheaper ones), but still, though that number isn't so high as to be unreachable to be fair.

EDIT: or if you're good enough at rigging and animating models, you could put the model in any pose you want, and use that as a base for a pic or something =P
