I haven't said anything like that, besides we probably get there if we continue to go left from our current location. So might as well explore everything on the right and then going slowly back to the left.

Considering the open nature of these text adventures, it's hard to tell what's the most efficient way of doing things without knowing all events beforehand (case in point: to speedrun the first text adventure you'd go buy all the required items, then go into the basilicoms, then into the Graveyard - for all we know we could have easily gone into the other nations from the very beginning)

That IS a tactical person, but a tactical person doesn't explore every option. A tactical person takes the most efficient and effective option.

I"m an explorer. Originally it was just cause I got lost easily, but because of that I just grew to like seeing things that were out of the way. Plus, since everyone avoids it like the plague, I REALLY wanna see what's there ...
