You're not paying attention-- none of you are really. Since I own the magazine, two freaking copies, as a matter of fact. No one seems to remember this "teensy" detail. >_>

Anyway, in the article-it says "BACK to GC 1989!!"

You can't go "back" unless it's previously happened, they are blatantly saying it's time travel. Also.. aren't you the one who said the website is useless and gives less info than the magazine articles?

There is also a timeline that wraps around one of the promo images. On it you can see GC 1989, GC 20XX, then GC 2012. (There are more years shown but those are the only ones visible)

Of course they'd want it to seem like another dimension. With how much time travel is hated in general, if I were making a game that included it-- I sure as hell wouldn't state it outright.

Time travel is so obvious for Neptune V, that it's almost painful to admit.

Who said we can't have both time travel and alternate dimensions? (and for all we know, it's entirely possible that it's time travel but at first it seems like alternate dimensions and the magazine is just one big spoiler that shouldn't be there at all...)

Also you could have alternate "dimensions" if by changing events of the past you create different timelines.

The actual text says in one of the articles (or the site, can't remember at the moment) that the world resembles the GC of the 80s. Saying things for sure is jumping to conclusions IMO for now, even if it may prove correct.
So, if the text is to be believed, it's another dimension in which the time is around GC 1989.

Yeah and I bet Nep gets stuck by the end of it and then HDN4 will be taking place in the 90's with her trying to get back.

I really wish people would stop asking this.

Vampko is on here very often, and if there were news, I'm sure he would hear it and instantly update the first post. All you need to do is look at the first post to see if there's any news. Nothing new? There's no news. Plus, if there was, you'd see a lot more posts than usual because this thread usually explodes.

Yeah going through all of the info dump on the first page can be a hassle, and not everyone would know whats new or not, especially if the update is a single pic (unlikely i know) but yeah cant hurt to ask every once in a while.

How about emphasizing what's the latest update in the first post? Then we can easily check if there's new info or not (if there isn't the emphasized info would remain the same).

Maybe we should've added in the date we found new info to the first post. Going back and doing that now is probably near impossible.

As I said last week, Golden Week made update unlikely, and that's what happened.
