Honestly this game seems to be the most cattered to localization of all the Neptunia games, they are not going to keep it Japan only. In the extremely unlikely chance NISA decides to not take it they may go with somebody else, but it's more likely for Neptune to go on a diet than for the game to not get localized.

Maybe we could pay someone to make a translation guide/script. It would undoubtedly be quite an undertaking.

I've never played a Japanese game using a fan-made translation document, but I can imagine doing so would take a considerable amount of enjoyment away from the gaming experience.

The first game kept calling her chubby. I was referring more to the fact that getting Neptune eat healthy stuff (and/or in a decent quantity) is nearly impossible anyway, not to her weight XD

I find it laughable when people argue that. Since when you overlay the character renders; I refuse to call them sprites, from the first game over-top each other, they all have the same facial structure. There are hardly any differences.

V however... there is a noticeable difference, not much, and not enough to argue that Nep has a chubby face. I think she's just self conscious of her weight; although it's never really shown, and everyone uses that insult as a way to try and get her to eat healthier.

I almost think it would make her character more cute and interesting if she was just a teeny bit overweight. Not fat by any means, just something a bit more than the idealized figure we're given all the time.
