About the blu ray release

i'll be clear this anime release picked my interest ... the material and the bonuses seems good .

my question is simple .. are the NIS anime blu ray region free ? i'm one of the many living in an europe-based land and i'm pretty sure i won't be able to get THIS kind of release anywhere else .
My only blu ray player is my PS3 ..( EU)

is this release Region free on the blu ray ?

You may find that most new Blu Rays releases are region locked, only a select few distributors seem to still release region free and I'm pretty sure NISA isn't one of them.

Hello emulcool. Thanks for asking. For Katanagatari, our Blu-rays discs are Region A coded (which is mostly North, Central, and South America, Southeast Asia, Japan, Hong Kong, Macau and Korea). For most of Europe, Blu-ray discs are Region B coded, so we are not sure our discs will play with your EU PlayStation 3 system.

maybe it's time to hunt for a region free blu ray player ?
