Interesting Zavvi was chosen for being the retailer to offer the pre-order artbook this time around.
Seeing as they've got a fairly iffy history of customer service, which I've even personally experienced. Although I haven't used them in a long while, so I'm not sure if they've gotten better since or anything. Neither have I read about any more stories of them messing stuff up of late, but nor have I seen any saying they've improved, but I've also not be looking for either.

how does time flow between battles? does it flow after each battle or based on leaving the area and returning? Oh yea are the random encounters or you run into enemies? so does that technically mean if there are visible enemies then an area can run out of enemies or something?

I would assume they wouldn't completely revamp the system for the third and final game in a trilogy, so it would be similar Rorona and Totori. Sleeping and traveling would definitely consume time; if individual areas have multiple zones then moving between zones would consume time, otherwise, if each zone is one giant field, then gathering and fighting monsters consumes time. Likewise, enemies will probably be on-screen and "run out," which can be reset by exiting the area and reentering it.

If you haven't played Rorona and/or Totori, yes, there are slight plot spoilers. otherwise nothing is spoiled in Meruru other than what you should already know from the generic plot synopsis.

but even a starter video still gives away stuff that's meant to be experienced first hand! :)

I probably won't watch the previous Ateliers prologue until a new game+ or something. ^-^

Yeah, some of us knew a few months ago. But the thing that matters most right now is that we're 11 Days from the official release date!!!
