But in all seriousness, I actually don't usually get birthday gifts. It's the way my family has always done things. Keep things simple, eat some cake and work on my birthday. (it's practically a tradition at this point. xD)

It pretty much happens to everyone. What would be horrible is if your birthday fell on a Sunday you got called into work for regular hours instead of OT. That would piss me off to no end.

Though, last year was my worst birthday ever.

@SJX: My last birthday was one of the best in a while. Was working on a nice lakefront house's beach and my brothers were making jokes about giving me silly stuff for my birthday as we worked.
