Ubiquitor wrote:As Chad was heading over to the admissions office for a routine exchange of forms, he noticed a skirmish occurring in the Garden. After mumbling something to himself regarding a blatant disregard for school property, he approached the scene and said aloud, "Mr. Fortinbraz, I presume this is one of your class' exercises. Do you find this activity to be not the least bit... excessive?"

Fortinbraz froze. It seemed there was another thing there. It made noise as well, but it meant nothing to him. The first thing seemed rooted to the spot, resistant; he could not topple it over the way he wanted. And now there was another, but this one was moving closer. It had to be coming for him, there was no other reason in his mind at present for why these things existed. With them came the threat of the water; two of them could overpower him. This realization sent white shock through his body. But he couldn't fight two off, no no. He needed to hide from them, to shroud their senses. The shadows began on the bank though, the bothersome light was shining down on the river itself. Instinctively, Fort used his powers. The light from the area seemed to fade, to drain away until it was black as pitch. The light of the flame of the fire golem could not illuminate the oppressive darkness. It was tempered as well by his fear; there was a sense of unease and negativity to the shadow that had obscured the area. Fortinbraz only allowed the light from the world to reach his own eyes; knowing that the things could no longer see him brought him a familiar sense of safety, the fear of the cave seemed to be abating.

PringlesXD wrote:"Predictable." Alice had already thought of a way to defend against Rinko's attack. Taking a step back, she started whispering strange words again.
"Hell Golem!" A mysterious, huge creature appeared in front of her. He was made entirely out of rock and his body was hot, literally. Fire could be seen coming out of his entire body, making him an extremely valuable asset in battle. He assumed a defensive stance, waiting for the right moment to counterattack the panther that was approaching.

Rinko stopped in her tracks. Woah, gotta admit that is impressive. She was considering switching to a more powerful form when she suddenly found herself unable to see. She had felt this magic before, and gritted her teeth. Fortinbraz, get it together. Even with her superior senses, since Fort had blocked light from entry, she could not see at all. However, she could smell and hear. This gave her an advantage.

Oh, ok. Is there any major issue leaving it like that? I'm at work and editing posts takes forever.

Not moved in the slightest by the warning or the cold, Chad faced the woman and said, "I presume by your age and confidence that you are an instructor at this school. Anyway, by your story, I gather that the girl over there is fully responsible for this mess, correct?"

Spoiler:
Try not to overextend yourself; a third party individual suddenly acting upon two conflicts in one post could be considered a bit fast.

As the area darkened, Chad cautiously took out his wand; with the effect not necessarily being offensive, Chad was unsure how effective his protective magicks would be. Chad sighed as he saw that he could only establish a tiny bubble of sight for himself, not even large enough to see that woman.

Spoiler:
Note: this slight bubble of sight only effects Chad, other people are still fully in the dark.

"And when you finish drawing that, make sure that the student next to you is also finished," Yun instructed. Then she turned to look out the window wistfully, That looks like a lot of fun...too bad I'm stuck in here teaching these kids...

It's up to you, really. I'd personally prefer if you addressed her actions now rather than later, but if you're busy, I'm not going to push you.

"Yes, but like I said, I don't think it's her fault. She doesn't seem to be in control of her actions. I talked to her when all these students were in Fortinbraz's classroom, and she was not like this at all." she replied, still focusing on the battle unfolding before her.

Spoiler:
Sorry, Ubi. I've been meaning to post as Eleanor for a while, but I kept forgetting to. I was planning on butting in much earlier than this.

She's actually right by the group. However, I'm leaving for a couple hours... So allow me to do my magic~

A teacher? I suppose she'll be able to handle this, but I'll stay close... "Listen! If anyone needs medical attention, get away from the scene as soon as possible, and see me!" Meruko called out. "You all need to get away from this dangerous situation!"

I'll have to wait for Redhorse or TFG to edit their post so I can be sure how to act. Though I have to agree, TFG's interference rather came out of nowhere.

Err, I really don't know what to do now, anymore. So many people joined in out of nowhere, fighting against everyone would be too overkill and unreal. Someone can feel free to knock Alice out, but don't hurt her! x:

Chad moved toward her and touched Ms. Lawson's shoulder allowing the both of them to see each other but nothing more within the vast abyss of Fort's design. Slightly impatient, Chad said, "Well then; are you still capable of resolving this situation?"

Spoiler:
I edited my original post to remove my attack on Fort and instead went for Alice.

"None of us can be too sure, but it's worth a try," she said, not daring to let her concentration dwindle. "This situation will take a lot of care. Gah, damn this darkness... can't see a bloody thing..." She hoped her spear made an impact with the golem and not Alice. But whatever happened will have to wait until later.

Without removing his hand, Chad said, "Shooting off snow into the darkness seems like a poor strategy. According to these records that I am quite fortunate to have been carrying, Mr. Fortinbraz specializes in light-based magic. I assume that he is responsible for this blackout. So someone needs to get him to stop."
