Alice turned aroudn with a smile on her face. It was nice to see Sophia had woken up.
"Sophia! Are you feeling any better? I woke up just a short time ago. And this bird... is Rinko."

Sophia made a quizzical expression, "The bird is Rinko? Um, okay?"

Putting aside that particular confusion, Sophia made a nervous smile and said, "Oh, I'm doing good, but, um, do you want to talk outside the office? N-no particular reason; just because........ you know."

Sophia exited the office along with Alice, momentarily taking a glance at Dr. Sophismata. Once out of the office, Sophia relaxed a little and said, "So, um, how are you doing so far today? Do you have anything special planned for today, or w-whatever if you don't mind discussing such things, b-but if you actually do, I'm sorry for prying?"

Frowning, Sophia admitted, "Er, I'm not really good at this friend thing."

"Not doing anything in particular. Got stuck here last night."
Rinko flew out of the nurse's office when the door opened to let the girls out. She landed a little ways away and cocked her head. I wonder what they're up to.
Rinko sat for a moment trying to remember which classes were today and where to go to get there. Stupid lousy gogdamn school building, with all its hallways.

After taking a moment to consider her schedule, she added, "T-there are some odds and ends so to speak that I need to, um, do and I also have this class that I kind of promised to take for whatever reason, b-but after that class I should be free to do whatever you want to do; well maybe not 'whatever', but I guess it is probably safe to assume that you are not into illegal or bizarre activities, um, right? M-maybe you should ignore the fact that I asked that, possibly."

"Well that is very good to know r-regarding the activities and all, oh, and yeah, um, we could probably figure something out; that is definitely within the realm of feasibility for people like us in matters of activity doing," Sophia said with partial confidence.

"As for the class........ that would be Dr. Sophismata's class. If at all possible, I would personally suggest that you not take it; that's all I really have to say about it," she stated rather solemnly.

Waving goodbye, she started heading down the hall, Skip it. I really could do that, I mean what's the worst that could happen?

You know me, Meru; I am always deeply immersed in my research, so much so that I sometimes lose track of time. But I see you are keeping rather busy. I suppose the natural disasters prone to this school would give you plenty of work. Hmmmmmmmm." After a momentary pause, with a mischievous look, she added, "So, Meru, have you gotten acquainted with any of the new faculty members yet?"

"Ah, yes. I guess that would be a good reason. Busy as usual!" Meruko exclaimed a bit cheerfully. "...yeah, we kinda got hit by a surge of activity in here. Yesterday was quite... hectic, to say the least." she stated in a rather thoughtful tone, as she held her chin. She moved her hand back to her side. "...aaaand, no. Not really, haha. I have run into one of the new teachers maybe twice, but I haven't really gotten to know any of the new staff." she replied. "How about you?"

Must... not... stare... She managed to break her gaze, but not without difficulty, and definitely not without blushing. She stared toward the ground, trying to hide it.
