1/5 of the way through The Familiar, Volume 4: Hades. I really do enjoy these books so much, particularly on that reptilian, this-is-how-my-brain-works, level. It's incredibly therapeutic somehow. Volume 5 is going to be the end of The Familiar's 'first season', supposedly.

Finally managed to grab the first four Discworld books for cheap, so I'm currently about halfway through The Colour of Magic by Sir Terry Pratchett.

Also, while I wait for the next Matthew Swift / Urban Magic book to happen, I picked up The End of the Day by Claire North, which is by the same author, just a different pseudonym.

I'm currently reading the second Throne of Glass title, Crown of Midnight. Not because I'm that particularly fond of the series (it's competently written) but I'm rather bored and I couldn't find any other books on the shelf of my library that I actually liked so I went "Bugger it, it'll do".

I'm craving for some light-hearted adventure, not yet another edgy quest for vengeance by an orphan.
