And like you said, kids tend to have odd proportions...look at Conan from Detective Conan/Case Closed

I wouldn't call him a regular person.most people don't kill pirates/mercenaries/british people/other mercenaries and steal treasure for a living.

True, true...but he's pretty much a modern Indiana Jones, and the "looks" normal still stands

Though it is true that he isn't normal...at all, but he is the most normal character of his genre

Well, if your comparing to him to the giant walking sausage that is Marcus Fenix than yeah, he's pretty normal.

Nathan Drake is prolly one of the most realistic-looking protagonists in today's video games. The new Lara Croft isn't too unrealistic on the female front, though.

I'd argue that the Yakuza games have a better take on a 'realistic-looking' protagonist. Especially with Haruna for Yakuza 5.

Haven't seen much on Yakuza 5 yet, but do agree that the Yakuza series has had realistic characters, also, as a side note (though Yakuza still fits), I mean in games with explicitly fictional settings, so not including the likes of Sports games :P

Games usually have characters that match their setting. XD Cyborgs in mecha worlds. Normal people in modern-times. Moeblobs in anime-styled fantasy worlds. I just roll with it. = w= I mean, there's no point getting upset over it, right?

The descriptions of the battle and peon system are mighty confusing, but they'll probably make more sense once I actually play the game.

Which is usually what happens with CH games, since they go for gimmicks, I'm sure that it's much simpler than it sounds

Enemies have "Personalities", which are the same as "Elements". Talk to them when you're the right element (Graceful, Hyper, etc.) depending on their mood, and you can turn them into minions. More minions = good.

Yup...

Like I said, it's simple enough, it's just that because it's something that little to no games have done, it just seems confusing

Well, basically, it's an "Element" system, except that only some attacks of that element are super-effective, and some won't do much... It looks more complicated than it is.

Mugen Sould Pokemon? ;)

But serious I am curious about the game and will propably get it. I just like the sort of crazy story aspect. Aside of taht I wish tehre would come out a great serious RPG these days. Recently there are not really mucha round of these. You know something that pulls you in a world that you worry about. :)

Like Neptune and Mugen Souls feel more like a sweet dessert I also hunegr for a kind of big serious made meal. :)

Only haveing dessert and candy is a bit one sided meal in a long run.

Sorry I got a bit offtopic there. :)

Making one analogy isn't going off-topic.
