Generally speaking, I believe NISA will keep the Japanese dub as-is. The gamers who like their games in Japanese tend to REALLY like them in Japanese (at least, those I've talked to do), and I don't think NISA has any plans to annoy them by cutting things out unless they really have to.

Can they a option so if there no english dub for that sense but there a japanese dub for it that it at least plays it in japanese. That would be nice. I want to listen to english but i would rather listen to japanese then just nothing.

Also I tried switching to Japanese and it wasn't in Japanese either. If it not eng dub do they not put the Japanese voice in for the area either :(

As I've told many others, the original Japanese game lacked quite a bit of voiced scenes as well.

Not all games are fully voiced, even in the original Japanese.
When you're given multiple voice tracks, they also don't pick and choose what parts to keep, it's the entire original Japanese voice track in there.

Well...there was ONE exception. the blight of NISA. they did remove some JP voice acting. I don't think it was much though.

It's hardly a common practice, and on the odd occasion it is done, it's either a misstep or because of space reasons.

The Blight of NISA
Other companies have actually done stuff like this.

I mean, Namco refused Dual audio, and cut out about 40% of the dub for Legendia. And then there's how they didn't voice any skits until Vesperia.

NISA's been extremely kind to us having Dual-audio always available except in the cases where it just is impossible due to space issues. Yes, we rarely get a full EN-dub, but we always get at least one track fully dubbed (up to what was dubbed in the original of course)

To be honest, I'm just glad that we get a full dub on the stories for the most part, and extra stuff in English for some N1 titles (D2 and D4 come to mind)

I'm also glad that they throw the people that prefer the original dub a bone as well

That picture reminded me, I always had a random question on my mine.... Why is there Spanish on the back if they only make a english dub?

It's French, and every sign, game case, etc, is required to have it to release in Canada (or maybe just Quebec, not sure)

Okay, I wasn't aware that it was quite as bad as that.
Then again, when it is like that, I'd say it isn't dual-audio at all, it's just being butchered for no seemingly good reason.

Yeah, At2 had numerous problems. Easily NISA's worst localization. Yet, one of the best games they've brought over sadly.

Yeah, AT2 is still one of my favorite games that they brought over, even with it's problems...though I still prefer Lyner to Croix and Aoto

Wait a minute... Didn't Atlus technically go dual-audio with Hour of Darkness? It's been ago long I don't recall...

Also, anybody even know what "extra" dubbing went into D4?
