My guess is that the European store will have PAL versions of the games.

Personally, I'd wait for that store to be up, then see what the mailing address for support is and try asking there. XD

The support address will probably be the same, as it's the same staff.
Might want to wait until the store's actually up before contacting them about though, of course.

Guess that means I won't have to worry about if, the Vita game get a DLC or Custome fee on PlayStation 3 games.

Actually, I am not thrilled at all by the announcement although I am from Europe.

First of all: I prefer to collect the American (and Japanese) versions... be it Games (I don't care much about DLC) or Animes.

Announcing, that Europe customers will no longer be served when ordering in the American store is kind of a biiiiiiig downer for me. :(

What about all the stuff which usually doesn't come to Europe? (The top reason why I place orders in the US).

Yea, I know that I am not really the monster purchaser here in the NISA store. I actually only order here if there is a version not available anywhere else; I think it is worth it to spend some extra cash for that (collector's curse  ).

Well, one last question about the games: if we Europeans are "forced" to buy that version: is at least the same content in the game? I had it a few times that the Europe versions got stripped of content like the Japanese audio track...

Whyoever some companies do remove the Japanese audio track from the European versions, but leave them be in the American one. I hate it to be forced to listen to the English audio track of an original Japanese game. I sometimes just buy spontaneously when being in the store, there nothing noted on the back, and I don't like to google around to find out what's really inside. But yea, once opened you can't return games (at least here). Bummer!

We have never altered the content of our games for European release, and as far as I know we don't have any intention of starting.

They already have to submit the games to the different ratings boards anyway, it's not like there's a change there.
Besides, making two different versions costs money, so it's something you want to avoid as much as possible anyway.

Kinda to go along with what LeviathanX was saying, about collections and standardizations and all that...

It may be selfish of me to request, but do you think we can share the same trophy lists? You know, like not have a separate US and EU trophy list for the games you release?

Kinda... like... worried there will be too many Pokemon.

But whatever! You guys are boss so whatever way you wanna have it! But in all fairness, if EU will be restricted to EU, and US restricted to US, it'd be nice to keep all the trophy data the same. Not just for compulsive reasons, either, like fighting the urge or "necessity" to play the same game twice, but also for looking at who's been platting and who's been top finishers, how many people on tracking sites own the game, all that jazz.

I'd just be very much pleased if all the online trophy data will be allowed to remain the same!!

Well, that's good to know... :) (Namco/Bandai does this...)

Anyhow, will all the games you offer to the US market will come to the EU market? As of now the selection of pre-orders is quite scarce...
