iTunes downloads of NISA game music

Just a suggestion but, it'd be nice if NISA could add the video game soundtracks of their Gust, N1 and miscellaneous localized games to a music site like iTunes for sale.

Squinix does it and I really appreciate it because I was able to pick up the full Nier soundtrack for ~$18

I know NISA probably "can't afford to" or probably "doesn't see any profit in it", but I thought I'd suggest it anyways. I would love to buy the Gust soundtracks

Oh yeah, I remember seeing this before. I do think it's a good idea, and considering how many bonus OSTs we've released in the past, you'd think it would be a cinch. But once money comes into play, there are a whole huge range of issues that crop up involving royalties, licensing rights, contract agreements, etc. etc. etc.

It's certainly something I think is worth pursuing, though, so hopefully it's something we can push for in the future.

I'd like this. It'd also be nice if it could be up on other sites as well. Maybe you could work with Japanfiles? They have some videogame soundtracks.

Soundtracks would be nice. I bought the Twewy soundtrack on itunes and wondered why other games weren't on it. They have pretty epic music too.

I'm sure it could be rolled out to other digital music distribution platforms, it's just that iTunes is the biggest and most recognisable, although it locks everything down that is bought from it rather annoyingly, unlike most other similar services.

Yeah, I know it can be done, fairly easily too, but it's a faff to do so, and you could simply avoid it by using another service.

I actually did it by complete accident. But, now I've got proper MP3's of my stuff I bought on the store.

I still bought the stuff. I just was able to play the music on non-Itunes devices.
And I think Itunes is horrendous to be honest. It's just the service that everyone wants to deal with for whatever reason...

As it's the only one you can use on your apple products, mostly your iPod or iPhone, and thus their popularity forces the use of iTunes.
Although I hear that it's really good for following podcasts, I know someone who uses it exclusively for that, but that's about it.
