It was left in the woods to be "discovered" but heavy rains washed it away. The budget was too small to make a backup.

Spoiler:
Although maybe this one works with the Vita TV to be honest and less silly.

for those wondering, i can talk about any changes in island mode compared to school mode.
Spoiler:
there's the obvious thing that it takes place over the 5 islands and you search for materials throughout the 5 islands. you also hang out with people in a particular spot on each island. you still do the material collecting the same way and trigger happy hearts are back (i kept reloading a file for about an hour to get it). you walk around the main island to talk to people and hang out with them. you check with monomi instead of monokuma to see your relationship status with everyone. i also found it to be easier to manage than in school mode even with playing it in a language im not able to understand that well. also, all of the status bars are pink and white now.

First post updated, new review is out:

Gamespot- 8/10

Danganronpa 2 is a simultaneously terrifying, uplifting, painful, thoughtful, funny, and heartbreaking delight. Anyone who cherishes engaging stories, unique gameplay experiences, and great characterization would do well to invest themselves in this series.

The part about the localization errors is a bit unfortunate, but otherwise a lot of good things were said.

if i remember correctly, they were given the review copies at e3 so if thats true, hopefully they had enough time to fix those errors

An 8 from Gamespot is quite impressive (not for journalistic reasons).

I like the Gamespot review, it seems very fair.

Also, kudos to the reviewer for warning about DR2 spoilers on the internet, since newbies may have no idea how rampant they are online...

Inconsistent new gameplay elements
Problems with text and translation

What do these even mean, especially the top one?
Seems like a tacked on negative to me, I don't get what they mean about it being inconsistent, I read the review, I just don't get it.

Another update:

Diehardgamefan- (Rating N/A but if I had to guess based on the review I would assume its a 8/10)

I’ll make this simple: if you own a Vita, you should own Dangan Ronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (and the first game if you somehow missed that too) unless you absolutely hate visual novels, period. The game has issues, certainly; the ending isn’t all it could be, some of the assets are reused from the first game, the “Magical Girl Monomi” minigame is kind of weak and has a grind-tastic Trophy tied to it, and some of the minigames could use some tweaking. That said, the positives far outshine the negatives, and how. The plot avoids retreading the same ground of the first game while still offering a compelling story that answers a lot of the questions the first game left lingering, the visual and aural presentation are generally outstanding, and the game changes up a lot of the mechanics in intelligent ways to make the game feel fresh while still offering up elements the fans loved. The core gameplay retains the same visual novel and adventure game elements, but the class trial mostly features improved or brand new minigames to play that make the experience more fun, and there’s far more content in this game than in the prior one, both expected and completely unexpected. Hell, there’s a freaking light novel in here for you to read, and it’s pretty good too. Honestly, unless you hated the first game for some reason or hate reading, Dangan Ronpa 2 is on the short list of the best games available for the Vita at this point, and you’d be doing yourself a disservice if you missed it.

Basically his biggest criticism was the ending and at some points seems to imply him preferring DR1.
