I don't have Kasumi or Zaeed. I don't have any of the DLCs. :/

JerichoDeath wrote:Oh. I keep forgetting that those were DLC since I didn't have to download them. Both of them give you chances to increase your points in Paragon/Renegade.
If you don't have Kasumi... and you didn't send Mordin back with the civilians... then I guess I would take him. If you did send him, then I'm not sure on that one.
EDIT:
If you only get one DLC, I would get Arrival.
It prepares you for ME3.

What is lumines exactly? I've seen it but know nothing about it.
I realize Ian just google it, but I like learning from people =/

I always send Mordin back to escort the civvies. He has the highest chance of dying in the mission, and his success is almost guaranteed for that bit.

Ringwraith wrote:Also, Lair of the Shadow Broker is apparently a good DLC to get, although I'm guessing you bought a used copy if you haven't got Zaeed?

I bought it off someone on Craigslist because I got it for 10 bucks cheaper than I would if I went to GameStop.

Ringwraith wrote:Is that cheaper than a used copy at Gamestop or a new copy?
As the new copies certainly have $10's worth of DLC in them, as you get Zaeed, a couple of weapon packs and suits of armour, and the Firewalker missions, which are the replacement for the Mako sections.

Actually, it's not just Mordin, it's Tali, Kasumi and Jack that are most at risk after him, in that order. They also all only have a single defensive point at maximum, so are quite simply awful at holding the line.

TheForeignGamer wrote:Yes, I'm a 360 user. One of the few... I believe the reason why the PS3 got most of the DLC from the beginning was because the PS3 got a release at a later time. I don't believe there's a PS3 version of ME1 at all, am I correct?

JerichoDeath wrote:Correct. The PS3 version had a digital graphic novel recap of the events of the first game where you choose what you did then. That was neat.
For ME1, I played the PC version. I hear it was the best.
JerichoDeath wrote:Another possible reason for the PS3 version to have all of the DLC on disk is the available disk space. Although, I'm sure that the release time had a lot to do with it too.

TheForeignGamer wrote:That's cool. Um... I wouldn't say it's the best. ME1 has a lot of traditional RPG elements to it, but at the same time it's got some major issues. My biggest complaint was the common framerate drops, especially when you're exploring on the Mako. I installed the game to my hard drive, and it's a bit better. Not too much, but the improvement is noticeable. And the elevators... those god damn elevators. It had a clunky cover system in combat, and I really hated how you could never seem to aim if your HP was at critical levels. Otherwise, I found it to be a very good game, especially in the final missions. The role playing aspects of the game are what really drew me in. I missed the weapon customization that ME1 had in the second game. And the sheer amount of weapons you could choose from, but it looks like ME3 has that again. Despite all that, I still think ME2 is the better game, because it fixed most of the problems the first game had, while maintaining that same RPG style and Sci-Fi lore that it's so well-known for.
