Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit (PSV) - Out Now!

Postby Seventh » Tue Jan 07, 2014 7:16 am

The second project is Dekamori Senran Kagura, a “hyper big breasts cooking rhythm game” for PS Vita where losing means stripping down. Developed by Meteorise and due out March 20 in Japan, the full game will feature 22 songs. The Hanzo Academy and Homura Crimson Squad character set will be available or 2,400 yen. And on April 24, the Death Cram School and Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy character set for 2,500 yen. The full set, featuring both sides, will cost 4,083 yen and be available on day one.

As expected of Life and Hometown.

Considering Senran Kagura isn't really known for its music... I gotta wonder what they'll be doing for that.

Wasn't this download-only? Odd decision.

I can't imagine it not being, but who knows?

"Hyper big breasts cooking rhythm game"

I vehemently approve of each of those words, I just don't know about the sentence they're making.

I would imagine we are going to be treated to a lot of melon flavored treats.

That opening video is something else. I don't really have an opinion on it, but I cannot find the urge to stop saying "What"

I actually want this MUCh more than the Persona 4 rhythm game. It just looks like soooo much fun! The music seems like it'll be much better too. Persona music is generally a bit too slow on the beat for me. It's good for the story, but listening to it outside of when playing the game just doesn't invigorate me much.

There are many tracks that would beg to differ, Vamp. Plus, as was previously reported, the songs are being remixed and remastered to fit with the rhythm game aspect.

Considering out of the two, the Persona one is the one I'll actually get to play, I'll have to stick with that for hype.

Well, when some samples come out I'll have a better idea. But, as it is, there are only like 3 tracks in the entirety of the Persona-verse that I'd want in a rhythm game.

Persona/Megaten DOEs make good music, but it's good background music for the most part. Actual songs and the like don't really meet my tastes as well usually.

I'm not saying it's bad music, just I have my own tastes and stuff.

And the stuff I heard from Dekomori's trailer was exactly the sort of music I love~<3

Isn't that just the opening video though?

Honestly, i'm looking forward to this. That opening video is pretty much all I needed to form a positive opinion of it. Assuming that the game/setup itself will be just as ridiculous and up beat.

Seeing most of the Senran Kagura characters either dance, clap or nod their heads from side to side seemed to automatically put a smile on my face.
