Yeah that's how I am. The fact that this is a shooter has made me stay away from it for a long time but I may give a try.

I've never been a shooter fan (I'm actually really terrible at them), but I count Mass Effect 2 as one of my favourite games. It's much more than the sum of its parts. If you do decide to play it, I'd like to know what you think.

I can't wait to start hitting on all the female characters as female shepherd. Although I am a bit disappointed by the options.

I wanted Miranda so bad. I'm already sad.

Yeah, the lack of an F/F Miranda option was disappointing, or Jack for that matter. There's even some subtext with Tali! Though Liara comes back in LotSB, which is nice.

The F/M options are so much better in ME2 though. Kaidan was probably one of the most boring characters Bioware's ever created. He's basically a Carth ripoff (he even has the same voice, way to go BW), and all he does during his romance is make googly eyes at his commanding officer. That is until his one conversation's worth of ~Trust Issues~.

In ME2 you've got Jacob who's...okay he's boring too, but not quite as boring as Car- er Kaidan. Thane's pretty cool, though he doesn't really do anything for me personally I can see why other people might like him. Then there's Garrus. I won't go into it too much 'cuz it'll make me sound like a fangirl, but he is my absolute favourite romance option. He really benefits from the extra character development he got in ME1, because once you're a romance option all the non-romance character development is reduced (same with Tali).

I broke down and made a Manshep just for Tali and Miranda. My lesbian Femshep is just going to have to stay faithful to Liara I guess.

Anything could happen. They didn't make Garrus or Tali love interests in ME1 because they didn't think anyone would find them attractive enough to romance.

No need to feel ashamed, the Citadel is HUGE. I got lost a lot when I first played ME1. Always ended up at Chora's Den for some reason...

I liked Tali, even in ME1. In ME2, her romance route is just adorable. She's my favorite character, by far.

That's rather silly, considering I found those to be the most prospective partners out of everyone in ME 1. They also seemed to have the most interesting character development. I felt more like I was getting into a real relationship With Tali/Garrus than any of the other characters.

While evidence backs you up to some extent, I'm not sure if the reverse is true--the contribution of the experience of "Your Furriness" to the evidence is questionable.

It's sort of like a lolicon saying that Ilya was the most interesting potential romance in Fate/Stay Night. While true, his opinion isn't going to be very convincing.

It's rather boring when someone starts jumping at you right away, unless done for comedic purposes of course. Liara felt less forward, but still seemed too forward. Now now, I'm not knocking anthropomorphic love. I liked Tali too, after all. Most people would just consider it an unusual fixation. You know, the way they consider people that carry around body pillows unusual.
