Yeah, I know that both of the events I was talking about happen because a good friend of mine told me about them. I'll probably end up getting the game regardless of the answer, so meh. But yes, I would highly appreciate if you were to PM me the answer.

All you need to know is that the game is highly adaptive to your previous choices. So events and their outcomes can vary quite a bit depending on your imported decisions.

It really is just the last few minutes that leap off of a cliff, so just enjoy the ride until that point. As it's one heck of one.

Yeah, it is a terribly awful five minutes at the end, but you'll be enjoying it massively until then.
General consensus does seem to be that the closing minutes of the game are more or less the only problem with the game itself.

Well, Lair of the Shadow Broker was one of those things which came about and seemed to be a direct response to what people wanted, (and has many bits better than the main game itself funnily enough).
