...or it's the same deal as last time, and it's not going to be ready for then, so they're delaying it to make sure it leaves as a more polished finished product.

Oh, Uncharted 3 and Skyrim releasing within a week of each other. Sigh.

well next winter could of been translated to this winter as well. So its up in the air

theres also ff type zero for this summer to compete with (which might actually be what D4 is competing with )

This. I don't think Bioware usually cares about what games are releasing near theirs. I'm just glad they're taking the time to make ME3 as awesome as possible. It is the grand finale of the Mass Effect series, after all.

Mass Effect 2 got delayed into January, and that was the year everything was getting pushed back past Christmas, so if they were seeking to avoid competition, they failed spectacularly.

Mass Effect 3 will largely be bought by those who played the second anyway, it's unlikely to draw many new people in due to it's heavy story and choice-based nature.

The target market for Mass Effect 3 is pretty much a guaranteed sale to many, considering how many people will simply get it based off it being a sequel and concluding the story of Commander Shepard.
I know I will be.

I'm guessing Quill will too, although anything with Garrus in she'd probably buy anyway. :lol:

Oh dear, you may have just found someone else who tends to do the same thing...

I've not touched it after those initial three weeks when Mass Effect 2 came out as I know I'll get sucked back into it again, and I've got other games I should be playing!

Although think I only stumbled across your rampant Mass Effect addiction problems by accident by comparing the awesomeness of Space Batman to Gig...

Yeaaah. I think it'll only get worse once ME3 approaches. Though I can always go to the Bioware boards to blow off some steam.
