I like having Infinite Invisibility, Bound Dagger+Armor, extra strength, and more too much too have lost it in Oblivion.

Self enchanting was still in game, albeit limited in the forms in sigil stones, and you could still pay to enchant your stuff with whatever effect you liked, provided you had worked your way into the Arcane University via the Mages Guild. In fact, enchanting armour with constant effects got much easier, as it was all you could with armour and didn't require a significantly large soul anymore.
You do know you fairly easily make infinite 100% chameleon in Oblivion right? It's as broken as it sounds.

That's why I preferred using (un)limited enchanting. One could easily "live" as a hermit once you got to a high enough level to survive the outdoors. No bullshit guild work required ;)

Besides, it wasn't too hard to get Azura's Star and then kill a Golden Saint. There's your Constant effect now.

(Sometimes, just sometimes, broken gameplay is actually a good thing).

Yay, mods! They tend to solve such annoyances you may have.
Anyway, I don't mind having some brokenness in there, as long as it's really well-hidden, or at least not obviously broken, so it takes some effort to break it. Although I enjoy breaking games for the fun of it sometimes, I don't like to actually play through the game in a broken manner, as it kind of defeats the point, or any challenge.

Turns out you might be spending rather a lot of time at character creation, as much as they say you won't.

Wow...the amount of detail amazes me...though I guess this is to be expected from Bethesda...

I'm gonna cry due to how much time I'll spend in character creation

Heh, really? You expected a western game to not go for realism? Anyways, like I said, it looks amazing in the graphical department, and the environments look like I'll be hooked on em for quite awhile...main storyline, may you rest in peace

I am talking about the gameplay. Ive become somewhat bored of the single player action thing. Even in jrpgs.

The environments look pretty boring.

It seems Skyrim will be an equal-opportunities place for relationships.

The gameplay isn't going to change anytime soon, as it's always been a first-person RPG at heart, although they've taken away some of the more annoying dice rolling in later instalments.
The environments will be fairly grounded in reality, yes, it won't be crazily out there, although the series has had its moments, like the painted world.

I still like the coloring is mainly what I like...I admit, with the world...or continent in this games case being so big, the environments might get boring after awhile heh...

And the first person action thing really iosn't done that much nowadays

Well, Skyrim is effectively Scandinavia as far as nearest real-world equivalents go, as Nords are essentially Vikings, so there's the mix of snow, mountains, tundra, and alpine forests.

They did say Skyrim will have some of Morrowind's "weirdness" back, as Cyrodil was quite definitely a "standard" fantasy setting.
Whenever I can refer to something as a "standard" fantasy setting, it makes me die a little inside.

Yup, and the tundra areas are what I enjoy when I'm playing the more realistic games...it just looks amazing sometimes  I'd love some nice plains, but like you said, it is effectively Scandinavia, so there might not be any...

Oh well, I just got an HDMI cable, so I'll be able to enjoy the more realistic games in all their glory
