Also I suppose having four vassal's wouldn't be to bad as long as I could keep my theme and just have four loli's in my party (including me of course).

-Most of the clothing/armor (two different sets of things that you wear at the same time) can be worn by multiple classes. Some is for all classes, some is for magic classes, and some is for warrior classes.
My character wears eyeglasses because I decided that she would have bad vision... even if the equipment is slightly outdated, I like how it looks.
Plus, changing your class is really easy.

-You can choose your pawn(s) pretty easy... just sift through the database of created pawns that other people made...
I think there might be some way to use the community to do this easier? I'm not sure. I haven't tried that option yet...
I usually choose based on abilities along with appearance too.

I think a lot of the game sounds really interesting, and I would love to give it a shot. Sadly I don't really have the money right now and my top priorities this year are Mugen Souls and Legasista.

Sadly, trying it out with someone else's game...
like, if you're over at a friend's, and they have it... well, I don't think that would be the best way to play. I like it more playing with my own character that I created.

Still, I'm not suggesting that you buy it, or anything. Just giving my opinion.

-

Legasista... I don't think that I've heard of that one.

weird...

But ya, I generally don't keep irl friends ever (on purpose, I'm just not that kind of person, it's not a "forever alone" situation or sad or anything like that) so then only way I'd play it is with my own characters.

I read your posts. You just don't make points. Or they're irrelevant. Or they're invalid. Or all three.

That doesn't even make sense.

Assuming that you do read my posts, this only means that you can't understand my points; Too subtle or complicated perhaps. Half the time, you were just proving me right.

Blame the Dragon, the foul fiend, for hogging all the textures!

JerichoDeath wrote:Assuming that you do read my posts, this only means that you can't understand my points; Too subtle or complicated perhaps. Half the time, you were just proving me right.

Your "points" were vague. The examples you gave were ridiculous, the comparisons you drew were pretty silly, and all your posts went off-track as the conversation went on and on. I mean, I agree, the game isn't even close to The Elder Scrolls (it's, like, TOTALLY different, dude!), but you went from there to...WoW (a whole page of posts about it...) and completly failed to elaborate anything while you were at it. Still, I don't really get how he was proving you right in any way, and before you attempt to pass that off as your amazing wordcrafting skills with subtlety and depth challenging masterworks of any age, I'll just present you with this:

lan·guage
Noun: The method of human communication, either spoken or written, consisting of the use of words in a structured and conventional way.

com·mu·ni·ca·tion
Noun: The imparting or exchanging of information or news.

If you fail to express your thoughts and opinions properly, blame yourself, not the world for being apparently dimwitted in such a way they will never comprehend your words.

I love the game, but it does have a few jarring visual issues. Not enough to bother me that much (in fact, they don't bother me at all, and I even like how the game looks), but hey, each to their own.

My subtly is a flaw, not a virtue.

Although, your example utterly failed to illustrate what you were just talking about. Talking with someone is a two-way street, and he was just saying things that went along with my original point over and over.
While I did notice that the conversation was off-track (obviously, since I pointed it out), it was off-track with a completely different person. A whole new track, so to speak.
Everything you just said is contradictory to your own point. You're agreeing with me, then not, at the same time?
Please try re-reading my posts before trying to injure me with words as your knives.
-although, Sat-san's own virtual assault was much more to the point. So, don't worry overmuch about that.

So that means I can only agree with your presence (or stand) in its entirety? I agree with some of your points, disagree with others, and I disliked the way you elaborated on them. Like, dude. Two pages and you didn't say much of worth, and what you said could've been stuffed in one post (or two, but that's stretching it). As I said, your points were vague. To the point you didn't make points or your points were irrelevantly pointless or pointless to the point of invalidity. Or all three points pointed above.

Injury? Assault? Seriously? Aren't you taking it a little too badly? :V

Or how about we just cut it out and maybe, you know, discuss the game.

Actually, I've heard it has in-game DLC-purchase prompts, but can anyone confirm finding any?

Brilliant idea.

There's always a little notification every time you start the game (before loading your save data) that informs you of the newest unlock keys available for purchase, but beyond that, I dunno. Some people say they show up at the tutorial messages, but I play the game with most of the HUD turned off, and even if there are, you can just disable them.

I only had one underlying point that I was arguing. Most of these other "points" are just being dreamed up by other people.

Depends on whether I'm interpreting the statements of the two of you correctly or not.

Ringwraith wrote:Or how about we just cut it out and maybe, you know, discuss the game.

Agreed.
-I made a bit of a... little opinion article/paragraph/thing, a few posts back, on this game. Anything to say on that?

So, is it possible to disable that notification?
Or is it always there, no matter what?

The one at the beginning of the game? Nope, always there.

The in-game ones? Yeah, just disable the tutorial messages.

I can't honestly remember seeing tutorial messages, but maybe I just skimmed over them all the time.

You know, if you want to comment on that little review that I made earlier as well, that's cool too.

At least there's no Dragon Age Origins where there's a guy with an exclaimation over his head (which isn't ever used anywhere else in the game) who offers a quest which is DLC only.
Worst part? He hangs around in your camp, which you visit in-between going to any location, so he never goes away.

If you want me to, fine, here we go again!

JerichoDeath wrote:I only had one underlying point that I was arguing. Most of these other "points" are just being dreamed up by other people.

I agreed with you in one thing: the game not being The Elder Scrolls at all. As for the graphics thingie...no.

JerichoDeath wrote:-but I think that you can see now why I said my subtly was a flaw; I have a tendency to type/say only some of what I mean, leading to Sub-text that's difficult for others to read.

It's a flaw either way, not making your points clear. And you could work on it.

JerichoDeath wrote:Depends on whether I'm interpreting the statements of the two of you correctly or not.

You didn't, for I (mostly) jest. I've nothing against you, nor anyone, but c'mon, that whole "my post is too complicated and subtle for you!" was just begging for mockery. And Tenshi acted (or acts) as if the game, not you, had sodomized his cat (with due respect for said pet). Multiple times. But that's just him being stubborn with his opinions and stuff.

Heh, thanks for reminding me of the Warden's Keep. Yeah, there's nothing like that in Dragon's Dogma, thankfully. And even the current DLC seems pretty poor in general, being mostly just fetch quests that go for $2 and, admittedly, one cool armor that every single pawn out there in the game has.
