Took me around 90 hours but I didn't rush. I last one I got was Hero which is doing all the preset quests. Getting 350 weapons and armor took a bit of work but nothing was really hard as long as you got time to play a lot which was easy because the game was fun.

Such a Sad Panda moment.
Though the game didn't do necessarily bad in the US, I was hoping it could have at least hit the 100k mark.

Capcom's garnered A LOT of hate from their fans over here. And it doesn't help that other JP companies have paved the way by producing so many horribly westernized RPGs/games before them which were not received well.

Yeah so true. I wished Dragons Dogme would've done well here but Cacom did it to themeselves

I do honestly wonder what Dragons Dogma would've been like if it was a "true" JRPG..

I don't know, it's pretty hard to imagine. I mean, Dragon's Dogma already has little girls in skimpy clothing fighting off a multitude of mythological foes while gaining the heart of equally little (and cute) introverted witches (or high class lolis/ojou-samas and dark-skinned tomboys) that blush everytime they see the player, move into their house, and share true love forever and ever.

Maybe just add brighter colors and get on with it? Oh, and insufferably high-pitched japanese voices (with a surprisingly delicious one in the mix), I guess...

I prefer for it to stay how it is. Seeing as it's a "Western" RPG designed for JRPG fans, or that's what I felt when going through the game.

More voices is all I could want from the game. There's just waaaay too little variety there.

I'm inclined to agree (if you're referring to player character/pawn voices), and I must admit, it was upsetting to see that they made DLC consisting of an extra set of those.

However, the lack of voice variety between insignificant NPCs didn't annoy me all that much, considering you barely speak to them, and the important (and barely important) ones did have their own voice actors, as far as I could tell.

Of course I meant CC ones

And, I looked up the DLC and stuff thanks to Ry letting me know there was a voice pack with loli voices and such, and....I have NO CLUE what people are complaining about. The prices are AMAZING for what you're getting. I'd even argue that NISA has not as good pricing with their DLC anymore.

I really don't get why people can use 'DLC" as a reason to hate on Capcom about this game specifically...

I actually welcome the DLC for this game.
I'm so burnt out on fighting the Ur-Dragon that having some new stuff come in is completely welcomed.
Now if only they can make some sexier female clothes, my loli needs more :3

People are just fickle. Though personally, there is hardly anything, other than one or two pieces of equipment here and there, that would warrant me to purchase the DLC. But regardles, I wouldn't know why people would use DLC as a complaint, it's not like they did to Dragon's Dogma like what they did to Asura's Wrath, selling the ending of the game separately as DLC.
