Such a Sad Panda moment.
Though the game didn't do necessarily bad in the US, I was hoping it could have at least hit the 100k mark.

I don't know, it's pretty hard to imagine. I mean, Dragon's Dogma already has little girls in skimpy clothing fighting off a multitude of mythological foes while gaining the heart of equally little (and cute) introverted witches (or high class lolis/ojou-samas and dark-skinned tomboys) that blush everytime they see the player, move into their house, and share true love forever and ever.
Maybe just add brighter colors and get on with it? Oh, and insufferably high-pitched japanese voices (with a surprisingly delicious one in the mix), I guess...

I'm inclined to agree (if you're referring to player character/pawn voices), and I must admit, it was upsetting to see that they made DLC consisting of an extra set of those.
However, the lack of voice variety between insignificant NPCs didn't annoy me all that much, considering you barely speak to them, and the important (and barely important) ones did have their own voice actors, as far as I could tell.
