I really really doubt Namco will localize this, so who else to turn to besides good ole NISA?

There is no screenshots or gameplay or anything of it, but as the thread title says, it is awareness for now. Sort of anxious how this will turn out, and what studio in Namco is doing it. Either way, it is Namco, so I have faith it will actually be a good game. Keep your eye on this one NISA. :)

Namco has a steel grip on their products. They usually don't let anyone else localize their games.

Ar Tonelico is a Namco game, developed by Gust. If they can let NISA localize those games time after time, who is to say they won't let them get this if they have no plans to localize it? I mean, the Tales games, I can understand, but these one time games? I don't see the harm, but we will see.

ar tonelico is a gust game but its only published by namcoin japan. They have no claim in the states.

This is a namco developed game so its off limits.

Hm, always thought Namco had the trademark on it. On well.

because in japan thats what they put on there published games.

Believe me if ar tonelico was developed by namco. The odds of nisa being able to get it would be low

Well technically all 3 Ar tonelico games are developed by Gust, but published by Banpresto. Namco bought Banpresto, but Banpresto's team is still active which makes it like a published by Banpresto but in Namco's care. If it weren't for this buyout, Namco's name wouldn't even be on Ar tonelico III/Qoga, which means Namco didn't have much control over Ar tonelico III at all.

But anyways I am interested in a Saint Seiya game on PS3.

Would be pretty awesome, but Bandai is probably holding on tightly to this, so the chances are, licensing issues will prevent this from being possible

They got lucky with Bleach me thinks

The Bleach game was actually done by Sony, Namco's paws were never on it.

Exactly, I know I worded that wrong, but I meant that they were probably lucky to get a licensed game
