Well I classify em all as Funimation now, even though Sentai also uses em...it's just easier that way

Or I could go and be one of those people that addresses the VA by the character they play and be like "Hey...there's Vegeta!!! :P)

You actually didn't get any duplicates in there...I even double checked

Poor Yuri Lowenthal and Vic Mignogna though (Yosuke and Junpei respectively)

Haha, and someone who likes Tsundere characters forgetting Michelle Ruff? For shame!

A couple of E3 interviews; plus, one of the guys on the Atlus USA boards posted pics from the promotional work being done in Japan for P4G's upcoming release.

I feel we need to start giving actors who join unions a hard time. I'm sure they're getting benefits but it's annoying for everyone else that it seems they can never reprise their roles.

As an example, I'm fairly certain Crispin Freeman hasn't reprised his role as Zetta even once since Makai Kingdom. Oh, and his D3 appearance in Raspberyl Mode doesn't count, it's pretty obvious they re-used that one clip.

They're are other NISA examples too. If I recall Steve Blum couldn't reprise his role as Walnut in "Another Marona". Think about how many times this happens into the entirety of anime.

Point is; actors who join unions lose respect with me. Which is partyly why neither of them were in my Top 5.

2. Yosuke

lawl. At first, I read "Yusuke" and was like "Justin Cook? Really? I mean, he's not bad but really?".

As a former union worker, I can hardly fault anyone for wanting to join a union. Unions are great!

But that's a conversation for another time.

"As a former gangbanger, I can hardly fault anyone for wanting to join a gang. Gangs are great!"

See, I can do it too. Yeah, it's great for them, but it kind of sucks for everyone else.

I didn't know that and I already know it'll be forgotten by tomorrow.

Excuse me if I find that a tad bit disrespectful.

Same, it took me YEARS to remember the small amount of VA names that I do remember...there's nothing wrong with not knowing their names, as long as you acknowledge their work imo

Anyways, I guess we should stick to on-topic discussions

No disrespect meant to them. If I was a voice actor I wouldn't expect people to remember my name and wouldn't care if they actually did. Some do great work though and I do have favorites, but I know them by voice only.

And as Vampko suspected, I have a bad memory for stuff like that.

VA's are harder to remember because the only face we can match to them is a fictional character's >.> (Animated ones.)

Excuse me if I find that a tad bit disrespectful.

A: I think "gang" and "gangbanger" have very different meanings. B: I don't think making a comparison between joining a union and participating in socially deviant activities (covers both meanings you used!) is anywhere near fair. You should also lighten up a little bit. Is your life really that adversely affected by the fact that your games/anime don't have the same voices in them? If it is, then I feel extremely fortunate that I don't have the bandwidth to worry about problems on that scale.

RE: forgetting people's names, can't really help people who just don't have interest not being able to remember that kind of stuff. If someone talks to me about professional sports players, chances are I won't remember their names the next day. Same with politicians, historical figures, etc.
