Final Fantasy Versus XIII

A Final Fantasy Versus XIII job wanted ad lists PS3 package title experience as necessary, "or otherwise an Xbox 360 package title". But Versus is a PS3 exclusive! Just like FFXIII was. Well, at one point.

We ALL knew this was gonna happen. It's really inevitable pretty much.

Probably why the game's been in limbo so long. They were probably working out the details of making it on the 360.

There IS a small chance that could just be them desperate for workers that have any sort of industry experience though.

3) Its being developed slowly behind the scenes. Its not in limbo. In fact not 2 weeks ago the creator said he went through the entire games map.

4) The most current statement less than a year ago says its still exclusive

It very well could happen. But this isnt like some secret sign or anything.

They wanted 360 devs 2 years ago too and there were articles for them and every year since announcement 360 fans have been saying, its going to get announced at e3, its going to get announced at tgs, and it never happens.

If it is going to the 360 square will be the ones to say so.

Before people think this news makes me unhappy because Versus is going to the 360, it's because I'm tired of companies lying flatout, and nothing happening to them. It's a stupid mentality, and it really should be abolished soon.

2) This is what I think it is. And Development is pretty much the same aside from architecture which all devs should have a handle on by now.

3) It was never in limbo. It was just never the top priority game in development. It was still getting developed. Like I said before, the creator just said he went through all the games maps, pretty much signalling, its completion

4) Thats been true about almost any announcement. Game companies do lie. But they also tell the truth if theres hint of leaks.

the main reason Final Fantasy XIII shipped on 3 discs for 360 is because the cutscenes were videos and not being rendered in-game. it is a lot more efficient and economical to render cutscenes in-game, which is what FFXIII-2 will be doing. and guess what, the 360 version will be on only one disc!
